i'm on connect

140-144 ms on dubai server
32-36 ms on Speedtest pinging the DU server
62-80 ms on Singapore server

hope this helps. if the du link is up shouldn't i be getting 32ish ping on dubai server aswell? im still going through europe...

Please tracerts, not ping results. And no, peering needs to be optimised at Transworld's end for Dubai server to be <50 ms. Their forward path is not being advertised properly, pretty sure its dynamic but then again I don't work @ TW so I am just speculating :laugh1:

Transworld peering to Dubai is not direct just yet; according to miltons post on dev.dota2.com he has raised the issue with datamena so that they can contact TW directly to fix the issue.

PTCL users are straight up boned; PTCL is unwilling to peer because it is not a "feasible" option for them at the moment; confirmation direct from the gent that manages the [MENTION=24169]ptcl[/MENTION]cares twitter account.

PTCL ping was fine last time I checked :/ Today its back to the shitty ping.. Did they revert some change?

PTCL hasn't made any changes yet in regards to routing to Dubai; only changes that have been effected have been by Datamena on valves end, nor should one expect PTCL to make changes any time soon

Have yet to see whether TW will respond and change things after being contacted by Datamena though, will see.

    I have a PS5 but I am not satisfied with the experience. I am currently saving for a 4080 64 GB rig soon. Bit will wait for Pro if performance improves. This gen has been so bad I don't plan on buying consoles anymore for AAA gaming.
