Does Modern Warfare 3 deserves rage quiting?

Believe it or not, I've had a lot of experience gaming on PC, especially when it comes to shooters.
I personally believe that owning these gaming mice make very little difference. Your performance is still largely dependent on your actual skills.

Two guys on the same skill level
One on 300Rs Mouse
One on 1800DPI Mouse

U be the judge who is gonna edge out (sm1)

Still, a person with an ordinary mouse with good skills with outperform another person with a super expensive mouse but lesser skills. This is a FACT. Love it or hate it.

As i said above when playing on a professional level or simply on a very competitive level u do not want Hardware Limitations (Such as Low DPI Mouse)

Now this is a Fact u cannot deny (sm1)

If what you people are saying is true then in omyakha's case, yes it makes sense since he has a 40" HDTV on which he games.
However I'm pretty sure almost everyone else games on a display no bigger than 20"-24". But you guys still invest in these super expensive mice. I'm sure as hell sure it makes no difference in your case.

As Abby has said 40inch HDTVs and 20-24inch Monitors both have 1920X1080 Resolution so its the same thing really

A 400DPI Mouse will "Jump Pixels" on a 1080P Display thus hindering precision and this is another FACT (sm1)

Actually the thread has undergone many different directions. Overall its about improving your game.

Secondly, there is a thing I learned while learning traditional art. When you are starting as beginner any tool, pencil or paper will work. But as you gain level and start to develop your style you start refining your tools according to your need. Its same as getting A class driving skills while trying to race in a khota rehri against ferrari. Got the point .

A tool (Mouse) will limit you when you start to skill beyond the abilities of hardware.

Anyway today I have hit Prestige level 1. I am slowly improving upon tips I got from this thread so its not going in wrong direction.

1 - Not many people want to help the fellow soldier. They want to win yes but its not a casual sight where people are letting everyone have fun equally.

Though Battlefield 3 has covered some ground on that with restricting weapons in matches.

Example: You can't use sniper, mortar, grenade launchers and Claymores.

That leaves only guns and keeps the standard same for everyone so everyone can play equally.


2 - IF some lower rank soldier, n00b gets in a Jet, Heli or Tank and gets killed instantly every one just start shouting "n00b, get out" and don't let the poor man learn or develop his game. NOT fair. IF a pro gets into a Jet, heli or vehicle they refuse to let anyone else play. The n00b is trying to get this game right and contribute, while the pro is just a glory hunter.

3 - Glory Hunters. People who don't play for team, don't play for objective, just for the perks, unlocks, K/D and top score. Wtf seriously.

4 - Team work, Perks and mutual communication is not always there. Its just a myth that it works everywhere. It's the same dam reason why you see the same people in the same servers everyday. Because they've learned, accepted and adapted to play with only these same people everyday. More than half the servers on my list and people on my friends list are a result of that.

Mostly its only numbers game while playing randomly. When playing with friends its fun as of good chemistry between players. I think the problem with COD series is mostly the person is on its own. That explains multiple UAVs in 10 seconds without realizing that another one is already up. Than they don't wait for good time to use predator missile. Its just really a race towards getting there on top 3 spot at the end of the match. Be it Camping, nading, noob tubing, or Killstreaks. Its sort of FFA in all game modes.

But from last night I have been playing HC now. Amazingly its much more enjoyable and lag is compensated by 1 bullet kill.

I completely disagree. I'm no display screen expert but from my knowledge, a 20" running on 1080p and a 40" running on the same res. definitely isn't the same thing. Actually it should be harder to "jump pixels" on a smaller screen/higher res because the pixel density increases. From what I know, HDTVs of 40" and above natively support 1080p whereas our personal LCD/LED Monitors have 1080p in some other fashion.

At least this is what I think, not making any definite statements.

My grudge is not with a mouse having a better performance, but with the companies using false advertisement to sell their products for too high a price.
A better mouse may make a difference, but it doesn't play a big role in your overall gameplay.

One should get better first, then move on to these luxuries, if at all.

Bro the relative pixel density relative to the size of the screen is the same the only difference is that 40inch HDTVs have "Larger" Pixels

If ur mouse is gonna Jump 10 Pixels on a 20Inch Monitor it will jump 10 Pixels on a 40Inch HDTV provided they both are 1920X1080
And since the Pixels are Larger on HDTV so will the Cursor/Mouse/CrossHair and every thing else in Relation

That's a wrong concept of LED/LCD vs 40" Screens. All HD LCDs have individual 1080 pixels horizontally. that is 1:1 mapping of 1080p content. Larger the screen size, larger the pixel pitch and lower sharpness. What large screens here give advantage is seeing the enemy first even on a tiny window where smaller screens make it difficult to find enemy.

The chemistry factor is way high in Battlefield 3 and mostly because the system rewards team play highly. A lot of points in the game are made through collaboration and communication. MW3 essentially needs to introduce such a factor that forces players to collaborate, work as a team and play for the objective rather than glory hunting.

The other thing is the lasting effect of team-play-elements in Battlefield 3. If you drop a medical kit or ammo resupply crate, it stays there until its used up by players.

Similarly, When you're in a vehicle, the primary [Drivers] unlocks/perks become part of the gameplay instantly and add points and XP.

n00b tubing is just plain whining from players who still haven't wrapped their heads around the idea that its a war based game, you can't control what players do, you should NOT control what players do. Let everyone do whatever the hell they please.

Online keys are cheaper from CDJS keys etc.

After that is STEAM.

Beyond that is getting the DVD from any online retailer.

Those are your only options.

Woot is giving at very good price. Game itself is $60 so don't trouble yourself and get the key and download the game through steam. Easiest method.
