Wow Chhowni
I am always thinking. If GOD knows everything, (Since he's the God), what's OUR purpose? He already knows that what will happen next, regardless of what choice I make, he knows. So what's the WHOLE purpose?

Another thing, Person A, was born in a wealthy family. He had all the things he would need in this world. He decided to be really religious, and Islamic, and thankful to God, he devotes himself in the path of religion. But he still enjoys the luxuries gifted to him.

Person B is born in a needy family. He has 6 siblings, with 2 parents, all to take care of. Now everything is going against him, depending on the environment, he's NOT SO religious, he doesn't have time, and his stress doesn't allow him to do that. He's always thinking about his family. He doesn't pray, fast, and even has started to drink.

Person A goes to heaven. Let's suppose Person B also goes to heaven (Since he served his family), now they both stand on the same place.
Like I said before, Allah is 'Al-Adl' (The All-Just). The hardships one faces in life would most certainly be rewarded in the Hereafter. Allah will determine the extent of reward of course.

What rewards can a person possibly gets besides getting jannah?

Is this a place to ask such question. Go to an Islamic scholar and ask this question, who has a better understanding of such topics. I am amused at most of the replies here. I can answer the question but I don't think this is the place for such topics. What's shocking is that you guys don't know a thing about your faith and belief. Do you guys even know about Allah S.W.T. What if someone asks you who is Allah? I think 90 percent of you guys won't know the answer.

A guys is going on saying that there has to be a beginning, this is shirk. Here's is some Arabic text from two books, go to some scholar for its explanation.

Again this is not the place to discuss religious matters. Everyone is a mufti and scholar here, but self taught. Go to some authentic scholar.

People,

keep it civil.

Since there is a lot of deeply religious referencing going on here, please avoid all vulgar and stupidass statements.

Thank you

You are right brother but I didn't ask what Islam says about free will. I asked about what people here think about it. Sorry if it bothered you.

Meray masoom bhai app nay kitni jannatein dekhen hai ?

Jannat is the ultimate price for your hardships in world u can get ANYTHING by just wishing for it if u manage to get in jannat.

Ye kaam hai kiya iss dunya main koi pani ka glass bhe nahe deta awaazain denay say bhe.

you have limited number of options in life (good + bad) to choose from (options are predetermined). Each option leads to a predetermined outcome.
you have free will to choose any option out of those limited options.

hope that solves your query.

Note
(this is my personal opinion )

According to you Allah is not all knowing then? He does not know what choices we will make in the future?
ALLAH is all knowing
but
ALLAH has given us free will

if u want to achieve something than u have to work your best as per your free will for it's achievement and pray to GOD that he may award you with it, even if it's not in your 'qismat' (as others say) he may still award you with it as he sees your intentions and your hard work so he 'can' change the fate for you.
so if he can change it than we can say Fate is breakable
if fate is breakable than their is no point in believing in Fate,...

Thus believe should be on ALLAH and intentions should be kept pure and hard work should be done to the best and you will no longer be restricted to fate so nothing to be afraid of fate.

So basically you're saying someone is dead but he is also alive.
No,

let me simplify

lets say there is a man "A"
ALLAH has put A into a test,
A has graduated now and applied for a job
now A gets replies from two employers "1" and "2"..
assuming A has confirm knowlegde of the exact nature of both 1 and 2's work
and he knows that 1's salary is attractive but the work has is haram contents as per Islam
but 2's salary is a bit low and the job is also a bit tough but is purely halal as per Islam.

The Choice
if A takes on job 1 he will be punished as he has chosen the wrong path.. the path of sin by his free will given to him by GOD
but vice versa if A takes job 2 with pure intentions then he has chosen the right path.. the path will lead him to success and GOD will award him.

'ALLAH knew the outcome of every choice A would take'
=ALLAH knew that if A chose 1 he will be punished but if A chose 2 he will be rewarded.

this is only a simple example of a simple condition.. but in real life every day, every moment can bring you a new choice and a more complex choice= millions of choice and millions of outcomes

that's why ALLAH is all knowing.

hope u caught my drift.

Further more if i enhance the complexity of the same situation above^

Assuming 'A did not know the exact nature of 1's work and thought of job 1 as halal'
he intended all good by it, he intended to work for the best and to feed his family/ his future family as per the salary and A took job 1.
here A will not be punished for his choice (he may as well be rewarded) because he had pure intentions associated with the selection of the job and he never knew that it was haram.

This shows that 'Actions are judged by intentions' in the court of GOD

further increasing the same situation..
after a while working with 1 on the 5th day, 'A' finally came to know that 1's job is in fact haram.

a choice again;
-A now has a choice to end the relationship of employment with 1, if he chooses to reject and end employment 1 then A would be saved from the punish (may even be rewarded) by GOD
- but A also has a choice to continue with 1 even after knowing that job 1 is haram, if he chooses to continue then vice versa, A would be punished by GOD.

I get your point. You are saying that God presents us with choices and he knows the outcome of all those choices but He doesn't know what choice will we take. Am I right ?

Even the goddamn zombies don't behave like proper zombies. They're all fast & intelligent unlike how zombies are supposed to be like.
