I'll take 900p over 2x (3x even, depending on the CPU) the stutter. Performance is king (relative to other versions of the game) 🤜

Hopefully like Jedi Survivor, CerebralTiger will bless us with some performance mode screenshots from PS5 🤭
For that, I'd have to own a copy of the game, which I currently don't 🤷‍♂️:LOL:

That's just based on capframex's classification of stutter, which Alex has already disproven. It only accounts for a significantly larger delta between frame times 🤷‍♂️ :LOL:

And even if you consider 0.2%, that's a lot to ruin the experience. We're talking microseconds here :ROFLMAO:

Based on capframex's findings, Stray also stutters only 0.2% of the time.

Can you read a graph? Do you see the "legend" where the stuttering is marked as red? Now see that plot on the graph. Every frame time with a higher than 12ms is above the red line and accounted as a stutter. That is 0.2% in a 30mins run. King indeed 🤜

Kuch samajh aa raha hai? Goddamn at hating on things you don't even know anything about 🤦‍♂️

In his tweet, capframex states that spikes of < 30 ms are, well, not spikes, and even the ones slightly above 30 ms are barely noticeable due to Freesync/VRR, which again entirely depends on the previous frame time. For a game running at unlocked frame rates, a spike from 8.33 ms to above 16.66 ms will be noticeable.



Can you read a graph?
I would if it didn't lack basic information, such as the very first thing one has to consider i.e. a delta threshold. What's capframex's threshold? Does it say in your graph? The red line is vaguely indicated, but it could be anywhere between 20-25 ms. Who knows. And it's a fixed threshold that isn't based on frame time delta, so 🤷‍♂️

It is more about the Delta between frames being so different.

    Started Dead Island 2, and i find it pretty lame. The story is shit. The characters are either cringe or bland (all 6 of them), The gameplay isn't fun. Even the goddamn zombies don't behave like proper zombies. They're all fast & intelligent unlike how zombies are supposed to be like. Any fan of "zombie" genre cannot possibly like this shitfest of a game. Dying Light 2 was million times better than this shit.
