This might be one of the biggest news this year.

I really hope we can get access to many international items at good prices now.

Well it is good for buyers but not for sellers as our sellers and other E-Commerce sites won't be able compete them.
Sellers can use their platform to push their products...Alibaba/amazon/aliexpress all have sellers program where they allow private sellers to sell stuff themselves

This move will hopefully open doors to paypal, amazon and other services into entering Pakistan

Paypal's entry completely depends on Government's will and State bank's policies. Many well reputed bloggers sent them emails about coming back in Pakistan and their answers is always same that they wanted to start their business again in Pakistan but due to state banks policies they cannot operate here.

Well I think many guys don't know that Paypal used to work here in Pakistan before 2006.

It is still under progress. You never know one fine day this will also be a part of those dreamers that wanted to operate in pakistan badly.

Exactly. Buyers are going to be happy and honestly, we don't give a sh*t about sellers with their inflated-prices and no-good attitude. They are going to have to change their way of business if they want to compete with a giant.

P.S. When/If Amazon launches in Pakistan, most online shops/sellers will commit suicide.

One more thing, it's NOT yet acquired. At least not according to the linked article.

wow wow this is really some news if they somehow tackle problems related to customs and all other stuff and don't end up like other companies that come to Pakistan.

I don't think amazon will launch in pakistan at least not till we fix our roads, if alibaba does acquire daraz, it'll be almost impossible for companies like yayvo or hsn to compete and they'll be forced to improve their services and all of them together could pressure the govt to work on the country's infrastructure and security.

Alibaba,AliExpress,Alipay(Paypal for china) all are subsidiary of Taobao and Aliexpress is just 1/3 of Taobao where sellers with knowledge and English sell there stuff I am a VIP5 user on taobao where as VIP6 is highest

If we get them here in PK it would be amazing then they can even introduce TMALL over time which is their own mall for products and not ran by 3rd party sellers but their own certified products

Score 1 for game pass. I wouldn't pay full price for this at retail either.

Just downloaded my first legit digital PC game on GoG at a discount of $8: Two Point Hospital. The same team behind Theme Hospital Two Point Studios now part of Sega. And I am having more fun than most recent AAA games except of course BG3.

Still, I don't like either Sony or Microsoft as they are focusing more on corporate greed than delighting customers. PC gaming is best of gaming and worth every penny.

PC Gamer score of 58/100 for Hellblade 2??? Is it really worse than Gollum that was 64/100? Microsoft games can't even come close to high scores of Sony exclusives apparently.

About the Microsoft (and Sony) debate, I feel both have become too greedy and losing their minds over corporate greed. Personally, I will never buy any console next gen and switch to PC gaming where democracy reins.

did you try setting up Google Payments? For UBL you may have to get it enabled for internet transactions, Naya should work without it!
