CS is the break thorough game for MP competitive gameplay .. but time has passed now .. and things have move forward .. BF3 is one of the very good iteration of this genre of games .. "team play" ..
u can not win a game w/o any team work .. that is the best thing i like about BF3 ..

You're not a competitive player, are you? So why are you basing your decision of which game YOU like based on the competitive players in it to WHOM you have no relation real or skill wise whatsoever?
You know what this, if BF3 had come out with Counter strike 1.6 graphics, it'd be awesome, but since it has newer graphics it isnt. And I know what CS players are like, I am one myself, if any game has better graphics than it be it CS:S or BF3 or MW, they automatically say woh tou bachon kay liye game hay :lol: And I am just telling you the CS side of the story, I havent even played BF3 yet, plan to soon.
YES CS is a great game, one of the BEST FPS games ever, appreciate for whats it worth, but at the same time don't hate newer games because they are simply better than it. Or in other words, just because you're a Ferrari F50 fanboy doesnt mean you deny the 458 italia or the other ferrari greats, you can appreciate both at the same time, no?
And one more thing, Pakistani people are HIGHLY resistable and afraid of change. You see it in your relations with people everyday, if you are different you are automatically an outcast, same goes for the online world. If you are ahead of the rest, if you like playing a newer game, if you switch to Windows 7 because its better, if you buy a legit game to support the developers, you're automatically stupid. :lol:
Ohh and one more thing, the team players in CS as a percentage of the whole is probably close to 10-15%, try joining any PTCL or any other server, its a one man mission most of the time with no backup or strategy whatsoever. I was playing on a map yesterday, de_dust2 where the CT one alot of matches and got snipers, all 20 if em with probaby 12 with M4A1s and instead of rushing them all together terrorists were camping outside with their SMGs and pistols (no money :lol
while the CT picked them off one by one while I kept shouting kay RUSH KERO! :SAnd I completely forgot, the swear words against you, your father, your mother, your sister and the sort of attitude that springs up when a girl joins the game, the poor thing gets bombarded with number do msgs and other shit.

The thing which is not getting into your head is that, you just cannot justify or criticize a game unless you have played it. I strongly suggest you first go and play Battlefield 3 multiplayer (If your PC can afford it) then report back.
Its not only the graphics which is driving us crazy over this game, there are numerous features, but i can only point out some of them so you can get the idea.
Teamplay:Squad based team play, you need squad members to help you survive more time in the chopper / tank or on ground.
Weapons and Bullets: There is a large number of fully customisable weapons and accessories readily available and a huge number can also be unlocked through the game, with each weapon having 10 core accessories to best suite your need in a situation. Not only this, In Battlefield 3 if you are sniping from extreme ranges your shots fired will drop due to gravity factor so you have to aim higher (depending how far you are) than your target so its no more a cake to get a kill with sniper.
Environment: Battlefield 3 features HUGE maps with every map providing suitable locations for every class, for example if you love sniping you can just hide yourself on top of some high mountain.
Game Modes: You can choose between TDM, Conquest , Conquest Assault, Rush, Squad Rush, Squad DM etc. not to forget the Co-op mode.
Physics: Destructible environment,I love this part tho, in Battlefield 3 the buildings fall down. When the shots are fired at you and they miss, it will still have a suppressive effect on you (your vision will go blurry and your aims will get disoriented) if a hand grenade or any other explosive is exploded near you but not on u ,HELL YOU WILL STILL GET DAMAGE COZ OF ITS DEBRIS ,amazing imo.
Clases and Roles: Battlefield 3's multiplayer matches see players take on one of four roles: Assault, Support, Engineer and Recon. The Assault class focuses on assault rifles and healing teammates. The Support class focuses on LMGs and supplying ammunition. The Engineer class focuses on supporting and destroying vehicles. The Recon class focuses on sniping and spotting enemies. The mechanics of the weapons have been changed to utilize the new engine: compatible weapons may have bipods attached which can then be deployed when in the prone position or near suitable scenery, and provide a significant boost to accuracy and recoil reduction. Suppressive fire from weapons blurs the vision and reduces the accuracy of those under fire, as well as health regeneration.The Recon class can put a radio beacon anywhere on the map and all squad members will be able to spawn on the location of the beacon.
Unlockables:You start with Level 1 and keep growing to unlock weapons and accessories.
Vehicles:Customisable vehicles with unlockable accessories including different types of jets , choppers , tanks , Humvees etc.
The thing is actually i can keep on writing on Battlefield 3 because there is so much more.
All I can say is just give it a shot, and believe me you wont regret it.
Their is difference between most played and most realistic.
BF3 offers highly realistic gaming experience with realistic graphics (great detail and destructable environment), large number of features, and impressive challenges. Its requirements are very high accordingly. Therefore, not every gamer can have easy access to this game unlike CS 1.6.
And BF3 is more complex and competitive game in comparison to CS 1.6. Try both and you will get the picture. It is not a one-man-show type game in which a highly skilled player can change the outcome easily. BF3 is about cooperation and strategy.
In short, BF3 is about realism and complexity. In contrast, CS 1.6 is about simplicity. This is the shortest possible differentiation IMO.

Battlefield 3 requires team-play without that you will loose for sure, I'm not saying CS is bad but imo it's too old now time to move forward

CS 1.6 is better than BF3 in critical areas like team play because... its simple. Simplicity is the key many times. Making everything complex isn't.
I can play CS1.6 for 5 to 6 hours constantly but I cant say the same about BF3.
Deagle and Knife of CS cant be beaten by anything that BF3 offers. Better graphics isn't a point.
Sniping is much fun in CS1.6 and yes of course way harder.

I own the entire CS series (including CZ, CS:S & CS:GO) and I tell you what even the makers of CS (i.e. VALVe) don't give a damn about CS any more. Why? - It's a 11 years old game now (November 10, 2000), with a remake that is 7 years old (November 16, 2004) and a sequel currently in beta testing. This discussion is pointless and going nowhere.

Yea sure i can respect that you have some Great moments IN cs 1.6 but C'ome On Man their are EPIC moments in bf3 that can not be beaten by an GAME out Today. HAve you ever experienced a Heli killing spree. 'Talk about feeling like a bad ass" and thats why game exist in the 1 place to make the player feel InVincible (king). And COD Is for kids who just want to get a DAmn Harrier and shit like that but BF3 for real Gamers
who know how to play as a team and bring home THe Win .......:hunter:

Peoples like me? I've never been too fond of graphics of a game. Heck, I prefer Street Fighter II Champions' Edition over Street Fighter IV, any time. Any day!
By the way, I don't know what this Battlefaild 3 is. Honestly, I wouldn't know nor do I care. I bought BF:BC 2 a long ago and never played it because of the fact that I've many other things to worry about besides gaming.
