BS in Computer Science from DHA SUFFA University

Like the title says im thinkin of doing bachelors from DHA SUFFA University.....but the thing is...i'v never heard about this uni's CS faculty or its passing batch.. i need advice on whether i should or should not go there.. plz :crying: or wait for some other uni..

I would obviously recommend CS from FAST, but DHA Suffa might be a good alternative for you as well.

Since it opened in Fall 2012, no batch has passed yet. As for the faculty, they have poached some great teachers from a lot of top universities in the country, so I'm guessing it should be fine.

I left FAST because i wanted admission in KU's UBIT.....
but thats like the end of the rope if i dont get in KU i'l just waste a year of mine.. would recommend bahria over DHA SUFFA.?

I've never been to DHA Suffa and don't know the study & environment, so personally I would choose Bahria.

I had a few problems at the time.. <_< plus others encouraged me to go UBIT instead of FAST....even on PG people used to say 'tm FAST me loge , FAST tmhari legi.. "
if i can get in UBIT i wont regret leaving FAST..

Morning admission is based solely on intermediate's %age. Last year the admission in Bscs morning closed at 75.8% and they are expected to increase this year.

FAST definitely has a tough studying environment, that's for sure. Good luck for UBIT.

its 70% but m not aiming for the morning UBIT i know with all the competition m bound to b kicked out..
i was planning for the evening.....but even for that the competition is still tough..therefor i needed a fail safe plan.. thats why i chose these...i attempted IBA but unfortunately i wasnt able to clear the test.. :crying: so now m left with these two as my backup choices.. the other universities arent that much interesting to begin with..

Yaar today i went to ubit and their administration office.... the man sitting there looked a complete idiot... didn't know shit... just kept on telling that do good in test... After that we asked a bunch of students there and they said that the 60% test + 40% inter system is still implemented in BOTH morning and evening.... what the heck is going on :s

welcome to the hell kids , if you guyz getting hard time by getting in to the admission at KU , then believe me , surviving there with good GPA for you is almost impossible .

Suffa has a lot of former faculty from FAST, I think they even had our director, Dr. Zubair Seikh, for a while but now he is back. I don't know how industry professionals and hiring managers view it but due to the faculty, as far as teaching and studying goes, you should be in good hands.

As for ubit morning admission concern you have to pass test by 50 marks then u r eligable afterwards top 120 will be selected on the basis of the inter percentage.
Evening criteria is 60%t test + 40% inter .
