Man this game is too hard for noobs like, I really really wanted to spend some time with this game but its too damn hard cant even pass the first boss
Be patient.
I was like you.
But it took me one night to get used to it.

You just gotta stay calm, and not let the frustration take over.

Learn their moves, Learn your moves.
And then, use them wisely.

That Pthumerian Queen trophy was such a pain in the ass.
gg mate, you did good. I tried going for platinum as well but I lost my patience in the second to last chalice dungeon zone.

Like Chicken said, don't give up. Bloodborne has a bit of a learning curve because you just have so much control over your character's actions. Most games lock you into your actions to slow down the pace of the game. But in Bloodborne you could be attacking one direction one turn and be attacking the opposite in the immediate next turn. There's no procedural swing fix or buffered actions, you're expected to be in control all the time. It's almost at the level of a Hack n Slash like Devil May Cry.

The game challenges you expecting you're already comfortable with it's controls. So just give it some time. No amount of advice is going to help you as much as taking the heuristic approach.

I was in the exact same situation as yours when i started the game but it took me roughly 3-4 hours to get a hang of it. I would strongly suggest giving this game another try... It is too damn good to miss out. Try replaying the game only this time clear the starting area get back to hunters dream and level up. Do this 2-3 times and you level up enough to beat the cleric beast. Once you have defeated the cleric beast I can guarantee you'll not let go of the game until you are done with the final boss. Also try to perfect the parry, its imperative that you perfect the parry if are a noob like me.

I Apologize for bumping this thread.

Ever since i saw first trailer of bloodborne and Its Victorian setting i instantly fell in love with this game (First page of this thread and second entry). Few weeks back i started this game and man this game was hard as a stone (Never played

demon Souls or Dark Souls) i had really hard time playing it and got really frustrating at times, but their was something about this game that i kept thinking about it when i was not playing it, remembering my mistakes and rectifying them in my next play through. Eventually defeating bosses i am realizing how much i am gonna miss this game. This game is beautiful in its own way and easily one of my all time favorite games  :tv:

BTW i am gonna play Old Hunters before encountering the last boss.

What was your most frustrating boss battle? For me It was Vicor Amelia She taught the importance of learning BB's Attacks and why Farming in BB is absolutely necessary.

Vicar Amelia was easypeasy. Mine were a couple of bosses in the chalice dungeons and Blood starved beast in the main campaign.

Blood Starved was easy for me because of his attraction to blood (item for that, dont remember its name) and we can easily parry his attacks. what character build you went for? I main Strength, the vitality and then endurance current level is 102

You're already way over level for everything in the game, lol
Really? I've seen people with 135+ level

so true lol .. hes using the RPG method
I do not even know what that means :D , Anyway spent most of my skill points on strength and its paying off in Old Hunters killed 2 bosses (Ludwig the Accursed and Laurence in one playthrough laurence being easy but ludwig required some

patience with attacks)

My build was almost identical to yours.

Lol.. @MadDemon I think Arko is right. You are way to OP for almost everything. Although I must say that I havent played the DLC as yet but still Level 102 seems a lot higher.

Janarioo this is not a hit and run game.. :p I dont remember playing BB like this and I have replayed the campaign almost 3 times :p

@venom @Arkonov You guys are right my level is good for base game, but i tell you guys Old Hunters is an other story, most of the enemies one shot you and that place is crawling with hunters You take a turn and there are two fucking hunters running full speed towards you for molestation purpose only :tv:. @JANARIOO This Boss was a piece of cake the most difficult i have faced in this game was Ludwig The Accursed, He is very aggressive and has long range attacks, Also his second transformation is just absurd, He was so fucking OP.
