BF3 Lag HELP!!!!

Also for the third time "MSAA" is the real performance killer in BF3 and a card like GTX650Ti cannot and i repeat cannot perform with it enabled

i agree with u in a way but thats not my problem my problem is my memory

even in ur current state ur System has more than 2GB Memory to run the game which is significant

Turn OFF MSAA and enjoy the game

Try going bk to windows 7 . Maybe uve got a trojan which is occupying ram. Happened with me once. Bloody trojan used cpu and ram alot

no man a guy m talking with his usage is just 1gb at idle :s with windows 8 idk what the heck is going on with me i am gona go tear off my head

I use Windows 8 too , as by my specs , it doesnt lagg , check on Task Manager for heavy apps

I disagre with u that 650 ti wont handle it.i have 650 and playing at ultra setting with 16x msaa and my fps are 30 to 37 and 650 ti is way faster then 650

What u need is bring down ur resolutin as this gpu is nt for 1080p and if u do it gave fps undr 20

Fresh install of windows 7 with stable gpu drivers is what i recomend. And turn down AA, msaa plz

Wel I simply instal the game set every thing to high and msaa to 8 and my game was running on 40 fps so I increasd setings to ultra with 16x msaa and now I am getting stable 30+ fps

its not msaa its 16x anisotropic filtering (sm1)

well i have seen people playing bf3 on 1080p with no lag with the same graphics card i have but its too much lagging for me why is that ? :s my pc specs u can see below my name plz suggest something

Yes i am having the same problem(when i had the freshly installed game, it ran ultra smooth on all settings set to high) and i have 560ti, and i discovered that this problem arises when you force close the game i.e using Alt+F4 or a frequent power failure......though i was lucky that i did this Alt+F4 thingy after ending the game, so it made not a big issue for me.....

Its Ram and/or HDD. Probably with low free ram so much swapping occurring on HDD that causes game jerking lag.

try on medium-high .
u know my i7 2600 could not run it properly on 1080p ULTRA with a radeon 6790. it could only run it properly on 720p ultra
now that i have a gtx 660 it runs fine on ultra 1080p!
so u really have to try and lower some settings

16x MSAA? bhai jan kya hogaya hai
MSAA = 4x on Ultra

Cards like GTX560Ti / GTX570 / HD6970 / HD6950 / HD7850 cannot do 4xMSAA without dropping FPS meaning no way in hell a GTX650Ti could do it

guys plz help m having the same issue low res game is smooth but while turning my aim up down left right it lags like this and my hard drive starts reading something i closed firefox it helped but not completely
