As much as I dislike the govt, I hope IK has not unleashed something he will not be able to control. The scenes from islamabad are becoming a little scary. The march is turning into a mob.

Government's official stance always have been that protests will not be permitted in the Red Zone. Chaudhry Nisar made this clear several times in press conferences.

As for Long March what Nawaz Sharif did in 2009 was exercising his right to protest under democracy
That is the SAME TYPE of thing Imran Khan is doing today and that is exercising his right to protest under democracy

I personally feel IK should have sticked with 2 Demands only:

That is:

1: Electoral reforms: introduction of bio-metrical voting system
2: Mid term elections


And thats what he did for almost two years, but no body will listen, Everything would have been sorted out, but these NS won't listen and has made situation worse.

Imran Khan have attempted for reforms through legal and proper routes for over a year now.

Result? Nothing.

Imran Khan have clearly pointed out that nobody will challenge Nawaz Sharif because he buys anybody.

Majority of political parties in Pakistan conduct status quo and business oriented politics and keep the masses divided psychologically. These parties have formulated a coalition on the back-end, a political system which favors them on all fronts. When military establishment or an enlightened political party attempts to challenge or derail this system, it gets criticized.

People have expectations from PTI, expectations that this political party is not like others and will bring change. Well, PTI is making an effort.

If IK dont believe in anything than he should opt for inqlaab total change of system nothing else.because these parties are not going anywhere soon due to so much power over their followers.
