Apple Unveils iPhone 6S and iPhone 6S Plus

Considering no one has mentioned the new devices - thought I'll go ahead.

The iPHONE 6S & The iPHONE 6S PLUS

They look the same as the old iPhone 6 [now comes in new Rose Gold color] but that's the only similarity as per Apple - New tech includes:

3D Touch (Force touch) - now the phone can recognize touch pressure/sensitivity and react accordingly. The iOS can do nifty little things with 3D touch, such as swipe between apps with ease.


13meg rear camera - Higher res and sharper camera. As per Apple, they went the extra mile to make sure the higher res does not affect pic quality as that is a trade off with higher meg sensors. Also, the front camera now uses mobile screen as flash.... I'm sure there must be an app for that


A9 processor - Better processing power and better GPU power. Nuff said. And oh yes, the chip that controls Siri is now part of the processor, so it's always available to listen (spy)... all the time... anytime! Your phone can be sitting on your desk and you can say Hey Siri and the it will listen!

My thoughts? My upgrade is long over due (currently on iPhone 4] - so I will definitely go for it.

Don't forget that they are using 7000 series aluminum on the 6s and 6s Plus unlike the 6 and 6 Plus which used 6000 series aluminium. No bend gate problem this time

Live Photos are looking nice but Still sad to see the Base model is 16GB only.Seriously you cant keep shit in 16 gigs let alone all those live photos, 4k Videos and apps etc.

Now talking about a typical pakistani phone user who likes to cover their cellphone in 50 layers of condom protection.

Will the Screen protectors work with this phone (Plastic/Glass) - while taking the new "3D Touch" in perspective.

I'd be interested to find that out. I use screen protector on my phone and wouldnt want to go butt naked with this one unless the glass itself is ultra super scratchless.

I'm sure they will work. The glass on the phone won't actually bend physically when you exert pressure.

2015- force 3d touch

4k video etc stuff to be clear all androids base model eg s6 is 32gigs out of which you get about 16 gigs of usable memory!!

And android is poor at managing apps data

Why complain when they also offer 64gigs and 128gb model

2) I am using note 5 and out of 32 GB , we are getting 25 GB which is NOT bad . S6 is have same amount for free space. And oh yeah, like crapple, you can also have 6 and 128GB models

Now list of all the things that iOS copied from android !!

Sorry to sound like an asshole but your argument is useless. Even @crase24 argument is useless.

Yes both the companies "copy" each other. But what does it mean for you as a user? MORE STUFF! Each platform takes the best from the other. Corporate competition is always healthy for the end user.

Heck, if it weren't for iOS, there wouldn't have been ANDROID to begin with. We would've still had those brick nokias in our pocket. And if it weren't for Android, we would've been paying even shit more of cash for even less innovation in iPhone.


For an end user like you or me. It's a win win situation. I'm glad Apple learns from Android and takes their feature and integrate it well within it's ecosystem. You have to admit, when apple does something, it does it well; plus it also throws some good innovation along the way too. And not only for iOS or hardware, but also the manufacturing processes.

Android tries a lot of new things, some work, some fail. This is good, we atleast have a platform which is so diverse that it can continue to hit and miss without any major loss.


You have to keep in mind, Apple is ONE company and does everything on its own budget and capability. Whereas Android has hundreds of companies working with it. You gotta give credit where its due.

First of all get your facts right and try to learn more about smartphones(rather than blindly bashing everything except your precious iPhone) eg 25 Gigs is usable out of 32 gigs NOT 16.
