I think the R5 1500 would be an absolute beauty @229 dollars with 6 Cores and just 65W TDP. A major threat to at least 7600k. Intel needs to overhaul their processors asap.

Yes 7700k will still give better performance in games due to clock speeds, even an i5 7600k is more than enough for such GPU intensive tasks

Or at 5Ghz this cheap CPU is also a surprise

But Ryzen is really promising for content creators (photo/video editing, rendering etc)

Those looking for Ryzen hardware can always go to distributors facebook pages and request them to import it. In this way at the very least they will know that consumers are interested in this product.
