Big issue is NOC from PTA.
Can u tell which courier service ur friend use? DHL? EMS? China post air mail? free shipping etc.

Let's put it in simple words. The free shipping they use come usually in 30 days , but the timing on Aliexpress is upto 60 days. Some postal that charge extra on the item are better cause they reach usually in 15 - 20 days.

Mostly, free shipping can take up to 1 month and if u use swiss post, they can come to around 45 days.

Cell phones/PDA or any equiment carrying GSM module will be subjected a NOC from PTA

How to get it, u simply email PTA with the following procedure

1. Email address : [email protected]
2. Add in your query of the Cell phone model + IMEI if you know + reason ( personal or business )
3. Personal phones 3 are allowed per month , For business ( NTN + Tax return copy emailed to pta if they ask )
4. Add in your personal address or consignment address ( same where u get your postal ) and contact numbers and wait for 10 days to get it at the mentioned address

The purpose is to classify the phones as category in which country are they being used without any International claims.

This goes for International baggage claims as well via flights

Check on Nike website and expect it to be around 3 to 4k more here in Pakistan. A soccer shoe which is available for 55$ to 60$ their is for 8500 PKR at the forum Nike store.

I am not sure if aliexpress has legit nike stuff but even if its legit it can be made in China.

Hi, i have been ordering stuff from (Online Shopping for Cool Gadgets, RC helicopter & Quadcopter, Mobile phone, Fashion at Banggood.com) in the past, duties never exceeded above rs 20-100. The highest amount order i have had was of $70-80. Recently i ordered a balanced lipo battery charger, the declared value was $12. Due to the eid holidays / road blockages near Model town the parcel itself got delayed. The post man finally came in today and delivered it in the morning charging Rs 20 for customs. The guy came in again in the evening saying that the actual custom charges were Rs 1073, i checked his slip and it had no description of charges or anything, just 3 numbers representing amount and a total. I refused to pay for now, and asked for more details/description of these charges. I would like to know if he was just calling a bluff. Secondly if he isn't and he does get a descriptive invoice for the charges i just cannot figure out how come it goes up to 1k. The duty tariff online suggests 10% on battery / chargers and 17% gst so it shouldn't have exceeded rs 300 in any case.

Any help on how to verify these custom's or how to get them right would be appreciated.
