I've updated the list!

Samsung 40" ES6200

Ha i'm storing my glasses in external hard drive's box!
Hmm - I'd be afraid they might get scratched in there. :p

I own samsung series 6 3D tv UA40EH6030. 3d movie experience is awesome. Haven't tried any game yet. :) I have 2 pair of glasses. 1 pair is still in the box totally unused. The other is in a hanging bag near the TV carefully covered in Tissue Paper :p
Haha nice way of keeping the glasses. Though I'd use a fine cloth than tissue as they can leave residue on the screen. So what movies have tried that you liked?

I have 46inch Samsung 6 series 3DTV Model : 46ES6200
Cool - this was my first option until I found out the CMR was lower than the ES6400. I was worried about gaming. So I went to Samsung dealer and they said ES6400 NEVER came to PK... I told the dude online shops have it but he said they were smuggled and other BS. Sadly the online shops had it on the list but it wasnt in stock anymore... :( So I waited for the F series to come and in the meantime also increased my budget. Ended up buying the ES7500 cuz it was affordable and better quality than the 6 series, even in F 2013 TVs.
i have a 40 Inch 3D TV Model 40F6400, and i keep my glasses in a wi-fi router box :D
Aww man, I was SOOO close of getting the F6400 in 46". People convinced me the extra money i'd put it for 7 series will be worth it... and it was :D

How's ur experience on this TV. Did u post an unboxing? I'd like to see it :D. I hear there is considerable improvement in regards to Smart Hub. I'll update my 2012 TV using Smart Evolution kit in 2014... if its worth it :p

Again - i'd be afraid scratching the galsses by putting glasses in an empty box like that.

@Mephisto I have kept the glasses in an empty drawer.

Sent from my codec using Nanomachines
Dude - that idea.. it never occured... its simple yet logical lol. I think I might do that... I'll cover the drawer with velvet and put the glasses in there... Brilliant! :)

But seriously i dont know what Sammy was thinking of making glasses like these? I know they are light weight and cheap to manufacture but dude folding stands is a basic thing! Its de-evolution (if thats even a word) of glasses .. :(

Ha the box has separate compartments, and pretty shock proof with plastic covers. So far condition is pretty scratchless!

The reason I don't have a permanent abode for them, like drawers, is because I'm moving places with my setup!

By the way, what's your opinion with the whole 3D viewing experience with relatives/friends?

It has been pretty much a downer here. Some kind don't feel the '3D' at all, others feel nauseous, while some don't see the charm in it!

You are right its all about personal preference. 3D is not everyone's cup of tea. Some people enjoy it some don't. i personally enjoy it. where as my younger brother doesn't :p

Hey thats a nice box if it has compartments and stuff :)

LOL I lure in my friends and relative into the world of 3D. I first tell them that most 3D is depth and less pop out. It's how the media is made but then I show them some great pop out video letting them know this is just an example of how pop out works!

For amazing pop out effects - search '3D Video Extreme' on youtube. It's uploaded by '1tompo1'. His Channel has amazing pop out 3D videos. You HAVE to check it to believe it lol! It's that amazing. I haven't seen anything as close to that 3D.

When my friends/family see that they are blown away. Then I show them some 3D games like Tomb Raider 2013 on PC. PC games give good depth and pop out is relatively good. On a fly of a button PC can switch between 3D and 2D. So You can show them the difference, and it's quiet apparent.

At the end I will show them a movie letting them know that movies aren't as good as the games because they are targeted to wider range of 3D devices (Cinemas, TVs, etc). Plus post production etc also matter a lot with Movies, where as PC games are all digital.

Over all they are pretty much convinced with awesome 3D goodness.

I myself was skeptical of using 3D cuz I read up a lot about nausea, headaches caused by 3D. Thank God I didn't feel anything. In fact one of my cousin said she always gets a headache in the cinema but on my 3D she was fine.

The ES7500 has pretty much 0 cross talk and 3D is crispy clear. Maybe that could be one of the reasons no one felt any headaches or nausea.

You are right its all about personal preference. 3D is not everyone's cup of tea. Some people enjoy it some don't. i personally enjoy it. where as my younger brother doesn't :p
Some people just don't appreciate the 3rd Dimension... Show him the youtube video I mentioned above... then see if he is impressed :p

@Mephisto ... Yes 7 series is indeed better then 6 series . esp the model u bought. good choice bro (y) ... Actually i was on tight budget. Had to make a good gaming PC as well . u can check my specs in profile for that :wink2: . And this is the best choice i had in that time.

Here is my 3DTV Unboxing

I have Samsung EH6030 40". I have a question. Few weeks ago I started to notice jerks like missing frames or very fast motion picture while playing 3d movie. This totally ruin the 3d experience. I tried to figure it out what may causes it because it was fine when i purchased the tv 3 months ago.

1. The glasses battery could become weaker that may cause it.
2. My TV is connected with wireless router via DLNA and content is placed at my laptop. So the delay could be because of wireless network.

I believe the 2nd point is more relevant. I felt better picture while playing it via USB drive. What do you people suggest and whats your experience about it?

Hmm - have you tried playing movie by connecting your laptop via HDMI?

Anyway try out by changing TV settings. I believe there is something (Motion plus - not sure.. google it please) that adds extra frames to your screen. Basically our TVs have a high refresh rate... if the TV runs content with low framerate it can create and add additional frames to give us the 'smoother' experience. Sadly in real world it isn't so - you get jerks in video playback as it can not consistently give you extra frames and you get hit by the slower regular frame rate. for some seconds it would be butter smooth and then you would get some slowdowns.

I've had all these extra things turned off on my TV... and I'm glad that I did... it's annoying lol!

well yes...those true motion settings can ruin it but i heard that the current crop of tvs is very smooth with that feature...anyways, this problem could be due to his wireless playback and streaming movies with bitrates of 10mb/s etc is not easy with wireless... a direct hdmi connect should be good, as you said

what is the advantages of 3d monitor, i want to get one.
So you can watch Stereoscopic 3D content. It includes Movies, Games, applications etc. But this is a 3D owner's thread. You can point your buying query on the following thread:

http://www.pakgamers.com/forums/f19/pgs-offical-3d-tv-led-107496/

For 3D games on PS3 - Samsung 43D490

For 3D games on PC - Asus VG236H
Cool - added you on the list.

Is God of War 3D? I love that game and might consider a cheap ps3 just to play it... would be a great advantage if it's 3D :)

Sadly, God of War 3 is not 3D. Only God of War Origins collection which contains HD versions of "GOW: Chains of Olympus" and "GOW: Ghost of Sparta" is 3D. However, it's worth getting a PS3 just to play Uncharted series and Uncharted 3 is amazing in 3D.
