What i mean by shrinky dink that your works seem pasted your art doesn't stand out thats because of poor choice in values. Work on the fundamentals use a single source of light on an object and draw from that and analyze where is your mass light and mass shadow, core shadow, reflect light and highlight. You also need to study color theory what colors work best in composition and you won't become a victim of muddy colors. Get yourself a good anatomy and prespective guide i have seen your work on deviantart and majority of your work suffers from not studying from life.
You got potential and i love your comic style you have great ideas but it needs some polish. Goodluck!
