    Absolutely. Beats me how so many people still so ridiculously anticipate the upcoming instalment in the already-dead RE series.

    I suppose they are after the action adventure that it has put on offer, more than the horror elements that exist no more.

    I wasn't really expecting much from RE6 and surely, the trailers and gameplay footages don't make me think otherwise; they only justify my hatred.

    Sigh! I suppose it's high time genuine RE fans learned to move on and not expect wonders from the franchise anymore.

    Hmm, was thinkin gthe same about emulation-might as well be a pain in the head. Will see if somebody, somewhere will be able to lend me his PS2 so that I can play the FF series. :p Not exactly dirt cheap but it's slowly and steadily going to get there, sshah. :p

    I did try CVX but for some reason I wasn't really intrigued by the concept all that much which explains why I didn't really complete even half of it (I guess I missed the better parts in the game). Kinda made me miss the 'main' characters (stupid but true).

    Gosh, you saw that Japenese original make of RE4 also? Was it not terrific compared to this action adventure game they eventually threw at us! The atmosphere and setting in that game made a whole lot more sense, to be honest.

    RE4 might have been a good action adventure game, but it was by no means a survival horror game, EVER!

    I think it's about time I edited the 'My Consoles' section of mine. I sold the PS2 last year so I won't be able to afford the luxury of playing FF on the PS2 but i ll see if I can get an emulator and play it on the PC instead. :p

    Yet to try Amnesia myself. :)

    Oh yes, definitely. RE was a classic, starting from RE1 (or should I say RE zero) to RE 3 and then it was pretty much R.I.P for RE.

    All we have seen was action adventure in the name of survival horror, ever since.

    So nice of you for taking out time to fill me up with the details of th FF series, highly appreciated. Hahah, the eagerness to correct me, alone, goes to show how much you value the FF series so rest assured that I acknowledge its worth.

    Yes sshah, I have actually watched videos of the game on youtube. It's just that my PC wasn't really as powerful as it is now to play a demanding game, even that of FF's stature.

    I believe FF series really does redefine survival horror. And there's another one game that comes to mind in Amnesia. These two are, by far, the REAL survival horror games. The rest are just BS (Resident Evil, Silent Hill etc. etc.)

    I strongly believe that a survival horror game isn't just about loaded a title with jump scares at every step (references to Dead Space series).

    Will surely give Fatal Frame a try, have heard ALOT about this series and I feel I need to try this soon. Meanwhile, you make sure you get your hands on Indigo Prophecy (Fahrenheit):)

    Its a cruel, bitter world. Though turns out there was some major power issue and hence all the areas in Karachi faced loadshedding. Now, come online. :p

    I'm not exactly a Business student, so I don't know much about profits/losses and how business works. But yeah, it's pretty obvious that Versus is a PS3 exclusive. It MIGHT be ported over the the WiiU though.
