    Yep, you are right about HDDs. Its just like PTCL is doing these days. Selling 1MB for 1200 & 4 times greater connection , 4MB at 2k :p

    About RAMs, DDR2 & DDR3 both require separate motherboard. For DDR2, you need a mobo which can support DDR2 and vice versa. DDR2 is the default memory type you can use with LGA775. However there are mobos available now which can run DDR3 for LGA775 but they are a bit expensive. (For instance, ASUS P5G43T-M PRO @ 7.2k ... which is certainly expensive as compared to Asus P5KPL-AM i mentioned in thread which costs 4.5k ... And if one were to spend 7.2k on a LGA775 mobo anyway, i would recommend him spending on a LGA1156 mobo which costs just a little more i.e. 8.5k)

    A new 80GB HDD (SATA & IDE) costs about 3k in market (although its difficult to find one is brand new but still ...), a New 250GB costs 3.5k, a 320GB costs 4.3k, and a 500GB costs 4.5k, a 640GB 5.5k, 1000GB 7k (a Seagate 1TB is 8k, but a new WD just hit the market which cost 7k, & WD black 1TB 9.5k)

    I mentioned 500GB for a reason.

    But you can still find yourself a used 80GB IDE/SATA HDD for as low as 2k. Please feel free to ask if you have any more queries.

    P.S. These HDD prices are not just for example. They are approximately the same price going on these days for a New HDD in market.

    Then You absolutely Need to have A PC, FPS on consoles A BIG NO NO!! Btw there are many games (RTS) you Could Play online on Teh Saxxy PC eg. Civilization, Age Of Empires and perhaps the best RTS of all time Starcraft :D

    And The best thing is You dont have to pay to play online :D

    You Know You could look in The Marketplace at PG and You could Look for A GTS250, Used Costs Around 8k-8.5k, But the 25% performance increase is totally worth it :D

    Although 9800gt is a beast in itself :D

    Yes It Will play Crysis at High settings DX9 good resolution 720p or 900p 35fps+.

    Yea But i3 too is a dual core with 4 threads :p

    Btw If your An FPS,RTS Fan You need to have a gaming PC.

    well i have the board exams head ache this year :( so i won't be able to give extra time to it now but probably after i'll be able to, I usually animate and make characters but thx for the advice anyways :)

    oh i just saw first post again and you said that you want to buy a pc that last for 5-6 years ,
    brother on that side i suggest you to go for core i3 because you can easily upgrade that pc in future e.g you can purchase high end processor from lga1156 like core i5,i7 so ignore my first recomendations and purchase corei3-540 in 10k, 2gb KVR(kingston value ram) in 4000,Asus P7H55D-M PRO(this board have solid capacitors and have a long life ) in 9300, 500gb seagate 7200.12 hard drive in about 4000 , and bulk casing and power supply and as you said you may get gpu soon so i suggest you to get better power supply right now like 500watt xigmatek or antec

    Go with my very first suggestion if You wish to game right away, It will allow you to play games at 1440x900 at high settings.

    I thought about asking you about if I was to start learning flash actionscript 3 on CS4(i started learning from lynda.com a few days ago) how long would it take to make....a game like metal slug:D?

    i know its a wild idea but how long wud it take tho, to get good at actionscript? and at the rate that i wud probably be able to use it about 5 hours a week... thx

    C3 looks nice, but a bit big for me. Wifi is definitely one of the useful things in a mobile, but I am really care-free about it. I'll probably end up wasting it, if you know what I mean. Wanna keep it simple, but modern.

    Got few more recommendations? Looking b/w Rs5K-9K.
