Slow dante? Which game you have been playing? The bosses were design for Nero and his devil bringer did alot of counter damages. DMC4 Test Mode - YouTube Was testing on my PC wanted to show that Dante is no where as nightmare and tank like you are talking about. He is actually more fun to play.

They choose the time period when cities weren't so much developed so i already knew the cities would be boring and dull, the only great part of AC3 was the frontier. Constantinople, renaissance Italy surpasses AC3 in everyway, it was fun to climb the rooftops back then.

After what they did with AC3 ( Which i highly doubt it was being develop in 3 years period) i don't want another rushed AC. Bring some god damn creativity in the franchise like they did with brotherhood.

MULTI Assassin's Creed III |OT| The Future Depends On Those Who Are Truly Free

True, it's unfortunate the team behind AC3 forgot the basic foundations which made AC1 so interesting. Connor is a worst protagonist in AC right now his revenge is so pointless so were his actions.

I have started playing Assassin Creed 1 again after a long time. Even though the game has alot of repetition, i'm starting to appreciate Altair he starts as an arrogant character but the buildup and change in him is really nicely done. Lets not forget Desmond part is also intriguing it's a shame...

Says you, you are making statements as if they are true in the end. Actually its just the way you see Nero as a character. In the end the story about Nero didn't progress. He wanted to save the girl the end, his relationship with Credo wasn't fully explained except that Nero always had a respect...

and the game has a surprisingly solid english localization with accurate lip sync. I played it with the english VA. Felt dirty playing Yakuza in English at first but got used to it real quick.

I think it was the Giantbomb GOTY debate or maybe the Easy Allies one. They were talking about how the turn-based combat in LAD lacks depth, and is the weakest part of the game.
The GB crew all love it, it was their 2nd best game of the year after Hades. The only combat related issues they highlighted was that sometimes characters can get stuck on scenery cause the environments are still the same brawler combat based, not designed around turn based. Don't follow easy allies so not sure what they said about the game.

  • CerebralTiger CerebralTiger:
But yeah, I'd probably play it for the worldbuilding, lore, characters

I will give it my 100% recommendation. It is as charming, if not more so, than Judgment in terms of lore, world building and especially characters.

@Chandoo I'd like to get Yakuza: LAD at some point (preferably when the PS5 patch arrives), but everyone says the combat is kinda bad. What are your thoughts on this? I enjoyed Judgment's combat, but not sure about the switch to turn-based.
I don't know why anyone would say it's "bad". It's a traditional JRPG, so if someone likes any form of turn based JRPGs, this will fit well with them.
