In light of the above comment...my serious advice to you... If you want a cinema grade story in a video game...why not simply watch a movie instead?
Btw...the above post is a how you troll.
Calling a game garbage and its enthusiasts fan boys is not very intelligent .Specially when the game has inspired a series of video games, cameo appearances by its main characters plus an anime/manga and a novel....you just don't call this garbage unless your a troll.
DMC hasnt been that strong on story ..everybody knows that. But its gameplay is a whole new ball game. DMC fans were more interested in gameplay and story was always secondary to them..so thats where the conflict is.
This new direction strips DMC of all what was great about the first games i.e silk smooth game play, great characters for a story cooked up by NT...i am not dissing the story yet the full game hasnt come out yet, but judging from the demo Sparda was just some low level shmuck of a demon that they rounded up in one of the cutscenes...which greatly turned me off...sparda used to be this bad ass demon that pretty much kicked mundus back in the teeth when he rebelled against the underworld...in this new story, his epicness doesnt translate well to the gamers.
now i know how u feel about the characters in DMC, so you dont have to give me your opinion twice. but these are some of the main concerns where the new DmC falls short...just because we have a loud mouth dante doesnt make him a very deep character...with that said, id wait for the retail game to make a proper judgment of that.
We can go on and on about the characters and it would not prove anything...because its a matter of choice...you like em or you dont..simple.
but for the game play...yes we can talk some facts
... and the fact that you never liked Bayonetta or NG suggests that you are not a big fan of this genre. So how can you argue about the new DmC being superior?..
