Tekken 7will launch on June 2, Bandai Namco Entertainment announced. The long-awaited fighting game arrives on PlayStation 4, Windows PC and Xbox One after years in development and an
at-times controversial stint in arcades.
Ahead of the June release, Bandai Namco announced both a season pass and several pre-order bonuses for Tekken fans. Players who reserve the game starting today will get a downloadable character: Eliza, a vampiric fighter who first joined the series in
Tekken Revolution. For those playing
Tekken 7on Xbox One, they’ll also get free, backward-compatible copies of
Tekken 6 for Xbox 360.
PlayStation 4 players, on the other hand, will get exclusive costumes and a jukebox mode when the game launches this June.
The game’s season pass will include three different content packs that feature new characters, stages, costumes and a game mode. Bandai Namco did not give the release date for the season pass, which will be available on all platforms.
