somebody needs to chk the base ps4 on different resolution of tv like 1080p and 2k monitor and 4k tv.

that will really make a decision of buying a high res tv/monitor easy for me for my pc & base ps4

Like I've said many times myself, for 1080p TV owners, a regular PS4 should be sufficient, unless future games start getting completely shortchanged.

Your assumption that PS4 Pro won't be good for 1440p monitor is correct. In my opinion image quality on same size 1080p monitor will be better than image quality you'll get on your 1440p monitor. Image will be a bit blurry like when you run your PC at 1080p resolution on the 1440p monitor. It doesn't matter if PS4 Pro down samples the image from 1440p or even 4k to 1080p, your end result won't be good as it won't be running at native resolution of the monitor.

2nd worst thing in my model i.e xb270hu (and may be on urs too) is that it only has 1 DP port, and no any hdmi port. So not only we have to get hdmi-to-dp cable but also will have to keep plugging in DP port for PC and for Pro.

Mine has 2hdmi ports as well.

I ended up buying the PS4 pro and found the image quality on my monitor passable. What I can't get my head around is that this thing though released last year has no SSD at all, none. What a disaster! This is something that we take for granted in our PCs. The loading times are horrendous. But thats my fault, I should have researched a bit more. I guess I might get some of my money back after I sell it.

Oh pardon my ignorance. An SSHD or something similar along those lines. I am perfectly aware of the going rate for 1TB SSDs and the PS4 pro for that matter. But I guess I expect too much from consoles, especially those released in the last one year.

You can stick a 2 TB Firecuda (SSHD) inside your PS4 or Pro. The consoles limit the data bandwidth so even with a full-on SSD, the results are within a few seconds, at most, 10~20 seconds less load times in games with longer load times. All current consoles support SSDs but don't exactly make full use out of them.

Like I've said before, if you already own a PS4 and if you only have a 1080p TV, a Pro might not seem like the best upgrade at the moment, but for a new PS4 owner and someone who preferably has a UHD display, the Pro is just a no brainer.

Fallout 4 is not the best looking game but this Pro patch really enhances the IQ and the game does have its moments.

BF4 shows instances of going from 27 FPS (OG) to 54 (Boost) in similar scenarios.

People in Pakistan/Peshawar selling for not less than 60k so I am thinking to buy one from Hong Kong as my brother/cousins are in China so I will pay him and buy one.How to find price of price of PS4 Hong kong?

    I have a PS5 but I am not satisfied with the experience. I am currently saving for a 4080 64 GB rig soon. Bit will wait for Pro if performance improves. This gen has been so bad I don't plan on buying consoles anymore for AAA gaming.
