Well, I'd still stick around, post like mad and create 'rivalries' that spark activity and fun on this forum. But it's the priorities of life and all the things in it and how you balance it.
I made it pretty clear why I gave up administration, I got married and I knew I can't dedicate the time PG deserves and I prioritized my life/wife over PG. I still hung around posting every now and then but my twins deserve and demand any extra minute I have in my life and I love giving it to them.
So family first, then gaming and then there really is no time for anything else. I can chunk out time during office hours for PG, yeah, but am not sure why I don't bother. Yes there are rules of ethic that I should do work in the work time but there's no harm on a couple of trips to a forum for an odd post or two every couple of hours.
I think it has to do with what your life is made up of. Back when I was active on PG, every extra minute I had was spent into either gaming or talking about gaming or writing about gaming. My life was composed of over 50% gaming and that's what my e-activity reflected. Not so much now, I have my toddlers pretending to be playing with gamepads and stuff when am gaming or if they're asleep then me and my wife catch up on movie and season backlogs or mindless indie co-op games.
So in short, they are the games and movies which I just enjoy for what they are and never feel compelled to discuss them anymore with anyone else except my wife. May be if my wife wasn't into geek stuff I'd have found refuge on PG. Thankfully, that's not the case.
I still love PG and will pop around during major events like E3 or MGS or FF releases lol. Missed this year's E3 on PG 'cos I was settling in another country. Oh yeah, that's there too. I've left Pakistan, otherwise there was also this incentive of checking the marketplace every now and then lol.
