The applications just suck
No Snapchat, no Instagram (it's the beta one). No Ask.fm website. The Facebook app sucks. I'm sooooooooooooooooooo annoyed OMG!:damnit::flame:

I think, There is bro. Otherwise when roll out started for others we having International version mobile get it right away. Even if our carrier does not have some OEM apps etc. I think Microsoft still ask for their go ahead for checking whether stuff works or not.

Nops. No carrier testing here. The reason you get updates late sometimes is because they're rolled out in batches. Some countries get it first, some later on.
I use the Global TV app. Don't use it much but I tested it initially and it worked like a charm. The number of relevant channels could do with an improvement though. Doubt it has any Pakistani channels.

Nice! I would suggest Sygic for navigation purposes. It's a battery-hogger but one can download maps for Pakistan and navigate offline.
Im considering the new Lumia 535.
However, user reviews on the apps have got me thinking otherwise.
Do Facebook, Whatsapp etc. run properly on this phone ? Or does it feel crippled compared to a droid or iOS ?

Don't know about any user reviews but a set I used was fine and the user has never said he has had any issues with it. Facebook and WhatsApp used to work fine back when I switched from the platform in November. Not sure about the current state but there is no reason to believe the apps would've gotten worse by now. I will get an update on the apps regardless.
Store might feel crippled, but it really isn't. You can find almost any app there, original or alternative. App situation is a lot better than most people will have you believed.
I barely use more than 3-4 apps. Facebook, Whatsapp and something for office notes etc but Windows Phone has that covered beautifully.

So i just found out that f***ing s***bag Microsoft shut down Arkane Studio (makers of the brilliant Dishonored series) and Tango Gameworks (makers of the iconic The Evil Within series), among some other studios. I just want to say a giant F*** Y**! to Microsoft. THEY'VE F***ED UP BIG TIME this time.

Started Dead Island 2, and i find it pretty lame. The story is shit. The characters are either cringe or bland (all 6 of them), The gameplay isn't fun. Even the goddamn zombies don't behave like proper zombies. They're all fast & intelligent unlike how zombies are supposed to be like. Any fan of "zombie" genre cannot possibly like this shitfest of a game. Dying Light 2 was million times better than this shit.
