Brothers. Deen to qaim ho ke rahega. Ab ye ap logo ki marzi ke ap uss ke qaim karne mai apna kitna hissa daltay hain. Allah ne hum se mehnat mangi hai, nateeja nahi. Nimaz to sab ko ada karni hoti hao agar ap log nima nahi parh rahay tou baray sharam ki baat hai warna ap nimaz ke liye jatay bhi ho thori der bait kar sun tou lo. Ke hamara maqsad kia hai. Agar koi tableeghi apko raghib nahi karsaka tou ap inkaar kar lo ya jawaz hi bata do. Iss mai ratti bhar sharam ki baat nahi. Sharam aur bahanay wohi dhundtay hain jo deen se na ashna hain aur namaz nahi parhtay. Ap khud hi dekh lo apne garebaan mai jaankh ke kese topic banaya hai aur kese mashwaray diye ja rahay hain kia ap ke khyal mai aisi halat mai deen ki batay batana zaruri nahi?

Usually, it subliminally shows them my lack of interest in the topic through my phenomenally detailed response, they eventually leave or give you enough time to fake an excuse to escape.

Why do they come at the home
No one ever came to mine so no excuses for whatever this thread is a about

In my area Muslims are quite busy in their social matters ain't nobody got time for tableeg nor someone has time to give on tableegi

When I was little, they used to come a lot. My excuse? Uncle main abbu ko bulata hoon :tv: And then I'd call my dad and run away :tv:

I seriously fear those visits.

I do try to look disinterested but that rarely works. They seem to think they can capture your attention with wonderful stories.

I mean, if you haven't caught my attention within the 1st few minutes of opening your mouth, how likely are you to catch my attention in the next 1 hour of torture?

I still stick around, because I feel it would be rude to push someone away , but trust me my patience is tested a lot.

And at the end, I am always in an irritable mood at everyone in my house!

When the country's top Mullas have a mindset that condone the taliban, and denounce the army, what kind of demented mindset would the lower ones have.

I wish this society was of the sort where you'd be able to tell em that you appreciate them going from door to door preaching what they like/believe but aren't really interested in joining em. And then not be worried about yourself.
tableegh might be necessary for all muslims but it doesn't really have to be an explicit invitation to somebody on their doorstep. You can subtly do tableegh to your friends.

Personally, I too find their "tape recorder" style off putting. I mean, I do(used to. Got a little distracted with other stuff in life and gradually got sick of superficial and flawed logic that religious folks imply most of the time, slight offense intended towards the ideas, not the people) read, study about religion on my own but I find that Religious gatherings aren't something I would be able to sit through and not open my mind to start a debate. That's the problem with it, you can't debate with religious folks. You can't even agree with them in your own words because even the slightest view of yours that might go against mainstream Islamic/cultural beliefs might piss them off and turn all of those in attendance against you.

They don't usually come at my door. They meet me when I am going somewhere outside my house so I just take out my phone and pretend that I am talking to someone

in our area they tell in mosque if there is a gathering , those who wan't to go , go rest who aren't interested don't go .

Only few times in a year they come to visit homes when some one special has come from another country .

I think people around my street are atheists no one ever talked about religion

Oh bhai just hang a "Michael's House" or "Kumar villa" plaque outside of your homes and you're good to go.

What does this have to do with promoting religious values peacefully?

Pakistan, unfortunately, have become a materialistic society just like WEST and this path will only lead this nation to ruin in the future. Materialism ki hawas ki koi limit nahin hoti.

- People don't want to be told what is right and wrong;
- People don't want to be lectured about religious values;
- People don't want societal norms to be enforced upon them;
- People don't even like somebody inviting them to become a good practitioner;

People are becoming too much self-centered and selfish with passage of time, thanks to global promotion of "deen of materialism."
