Ohh thanks, motivation is not the issue I just seem to have a hard time gaining weight. A question, what counts as a "meal"? If I have like 2 mangoes (full) is that a meal? Or something of similar size. ?

And I seem to be able to do more pushups everyday, went from 7reps/3 sets to 10reps/3 sets in a week, is that just because my body is getting used to it or am I actually growing stronger? There isn't any visible difference :p

Yes I can.

Yesterday was my 5t'h day in the gym. Started biceps. I got a trainer so its all good. For 4 days we worked on chest. Now biceps. :D I'm concentrating on getting 6 pack back, getting my veins out and getting biceps and a small chest.

Here is a beginners routine :) .

M: Chest and Triceps

break

W: Back and Biceps

break

F: Legs and Shoulders

In break times do Cardio .
thats a terrible routine lol...

chest and biceps should never be adjacent... and neither should back and shoulders...

all of the core stabilizing muscles in biceps are used in free weights on chest... same with back then legs......

how the crap are u gonna do squats when u just did deadlifts yesterday... even if its low weight its ineffective and prevents muscle recover

That is one of the best routines.

You also forget about the day break!

Ummmmm....errrr i seem to b having a problem , i feel as if my left arm is a bit..."De-activated" or less stronger den my right arm :| , while doing exercise such as Commando or one-by-one i sumtimes feel unequal force applied by my arms :( does any1 how can i fix dis or atleast make my left arm a bit more active so dat it may keep up wid my right one...

focus on workouts that involve lifting individual weights on each hand....like using dumbells instead of barbell.....do cable flies or dumbell flies instead of butterfly....get my point? it is normal and totally natural what you are experiencing

I dont do butterfly , I do pushups , pullups , wings (front and back) , commando and one by one , and in most of the exercises i face dis problem....so i should start doing exercises dat use individual weights then...?

Have been going to gym regularly since Aug, 2011..... I bench 70kg now (35 kg on each side) , 120kg deadlift (60 kg on each side), 40 kg military press, 100kg in squats :D .... My weight is 68 kg now .... and my aim is to increase it to like 80kg.... my diet is good and i don't take supplements keeping it all natural...

people just post their progress to get some positive answeres to motivate them and someone from somewhere just has to say something.....if your progress sucks then please keep it to yourselves.....it wont hurt to appreciate someone

you are going great man...just dont worry about your weight....you might end up overeating.....a little advice if you want it....try clean and jerks if you want to improve overall strength and power...

but please if anyone watching this is a new guy then dont do it on heavy weights....its pretty dangerous.....be very very careful!! so unless your are really good at squats and deadlifts dont even think about it because it requires alot of core strength and stability when going heavy

U dôn,t know any thng abt body buildng.how many times i told u to ur pics but u didn,t....bodybuildng is the game of môney.if any body have menoy just hire a pro bodybuilder as a trainer and he will tel u abt diet and exersicers....

it is totally normal.....and yes...try doing workouts that require individual weights....because whenever you lift a single weight with both hands its inevitable that one hand will take more load while the other with just act as a synergist........but dont worry about it.....a little advice though....try relying on free weights more....machines sort of dont help as much as they do

a little something for those who want to gain muscle mass and obviously gain weight.....i just gave it a little try until my exams started but i have heard really good responses about this routine.....its called the german volume training.....google it to get more details
