HELP GUYS..........

Its been now 2 weeks since I applied for package change from 1MB to 2MB got confirmation from 1236 on 17th Jan that it would take 48 hrs but DAMN those Ptcl CS people. Talked to the supervisor (Which I was told he is ) he said ive forwarded request on priority basis 3 days have passed still nothing. The reason I'm writing this is to ask what is the matter with these people why they are destroying their own livelihood with this kind of attitude. Just see the comparison I also have Qubee installed and believe me i called their CS guy for upgrading package 2 month back and he changed my package and speed while I was talking to him on call...

Finally please advice if any of you had similar problem how it was fixed and what was your next step after the call centre I do plan on visiting the exchange but who is the correct person who can get this fixed ??

Bro ye haal mera b tha par mai b pathan hun itna PTCL k office har roz jata tha aur din mai 3 dafa kal zarur krta tha k akhir kar unhone ne mera dsl 1mb se 2mb ko upgrade kar lia...Ap bi din mai 5 y 6 kal karo aur ho sake to har din 1 char laga lia karo ptcl....akhir tang akar upgarde kar he lenge...

PTCL to charge 5k additional on top of ADSL charges if downloads exceed 300gb in any month! What kind of BS is that now?

Does ptcl has optical fiber in pechs ?

this limit is also for 9.1 MBPS WIREPSS EVO?!!!

This is insane 300GB limit for 6megabit connection means 5K+5K+bull sh*t tax =??? Profit its better to get 10MB VDSL

Got a call yesterday from PTCL, the charges are applicable on 2mb, 4mb, 6mb, 8mb & 10mb connections. Called 1236 for verification and to let out some steam, the poor CS guy was like "Sir, what can we do, this is a management decision.", anyway it was very very good while it lasted, PTCL kicked some ass for 3 years or so but I guess now it's time to look else where as I probably download 500gb+ every month on my 4mb connection and I am not willing to pay an additional 5k.

Yes they do, infact they are driving me crazy with their phone promos to upgrade our telephone lines to Fiber.

I don't know if the same charges are applicable on EVO but I reckon they would be otherwise many of us will merely shift on to the 9.1 EVO connection, call up 1236 and ask them.

Sorry to dissapoint you brother, but the charges are applicable on 10mb connection as well. I live in an apartment building so we were exploring the 50mb package for the building, lets see how it goes.

Does that mean 1000 rupee charges over 50GB have been removed and 5000 rupee over 300GB added?
Or do both conditions apply?

Guys , can any one tell if we can check online that how much we have downloaded yet for this month ? Cos i wana be save from crossing d/l limit Pretty please !

I hope the 50 GB cap is now removed .
