Zach Snyder: I am a gamer! Right now I'm playing Gears of War, which I like a lot. I play it with my son, which is bad parenting I know.

GP: I think its great parenting. Did you have any input on 300: March to Glory?

Zach Snyder: It's funny, when the guys brought me the PSP game, I was like, cool! They weren't used to a director being interested in the game. It's a great game. I collaborated with them a lot with the look of the game, the feel of it.

GP: Has gaming affected the way you make a film or even the way you look at movies?

Zach Snyder: It might...I'm not crazy conscious of it. People have said, '(300) looks like a PS3 game on steroids,' which I think is cool. Some people think that's an insult but I take it as a compliment because games now are so sophisticated and so difficult and require the craziest amount of focus and thought to create.

GP: How are thing going with Watchmen?

Zach Snyder: Great! We're working real hard on it and we have talked about a Watchmen game. It's funny; because I mentioned it the other day and the message boards went crazy...I get that. But I want a game that will expand the experience of the movie but also an irreverent game that would have the feel of the movie. Scenarios in the game would have to have the same type of cultural commentary that the movie will have.
