Iam gonna do Bachelors in Mechanical engineering from GIKI this year and will do my masters from MIT if the course is offered or from Georgia tech or caltech.

Currently doing Bachelor in Computer Science.. .Will Inshallah continue my studies further aboard after finishing it....

I have plans to do Master's in Software Engineering/Networking or any other field of choice... Main interest is in Programming, so will probably select a field related to it.

doing bachelors in electrical engineering from university of calgary, canada......doing it because i was good at phy in A levels, specially in circuits kind of stuff......i dont really like studying anything, but had to do something....i like sleeping and gaming thou

Did my BS in Computer Science because of sheer passion. I wanted to become a game developer and realized that first step was to become a good programmer. During BS, I understood the industry better and shifted towards domains other than gaming. I did exercise my desire to make a game engine, made a training sim for the military with Half Life 1 style visuals (with much much much higher res textures) back in 2006. Eventually realized that core programming is what I love doing, so doing that ever since.

Now felt the need of understanding the business dynamic and the inner workings of corporate systems and organizations - so enrolled into MBA. Doing it to broaden my knowledge and perspective and isn't exactly a requirement. I'm waiting to fail in a course so I can finally have a reason to drop it but 12 courses have been gone successfully, I might as well finish it off

Doing by BE in Electrical Engineering. Passion was Mechatronics but had to choose Electrical due to social/family pressures. Love robots and will Insh'Allah be taking it up soon after graduation

Nice thread...Doing BS in I.T....planned to Do MS majors in NETWORK security...and maybe MBA after MS..depends on my JOB requirement....

well my first priority was electrical engineering with specialization in electronics and programming, but just got 797 marks in fsc:|. so coudnt get admission in gud goverment universities, and my parents never let me to get admitted in private universities due to some reasons:| so at that time i was much frustrated, then tried my luck through pak army( issb test) under tcc( technical cadet course)passed all the tests. (initial, medical, interview, physical test) but dont know why they still deffered me, now at this time:gun:i was much dissapointed that even thought that life should now come to end:yay:, i never wanted to repeat again so thought to change the field(A), so started chartered accountancy. one of the reason to join ca was inspirations from my cousin. as he enjoy too much respect and siniority(bow), other reason was that the only competitive and challenging degree is only chartered accountany.:muscles:

Finance/Accounts

Cus of pay really. Plus job security as finance is something that is a backbone for ANY company.

My passions are those that cant really be pursued by degrees, rather by money.

One of the biggest would be opening my own resturaunt where you get really good authentic hearty food rather than the over-decorated over-priced and at times awful tasting a stuff thats becoming common in all of our cafes ... stuff like big rustic pizzas topped generously with toppings instead of the neat clean almost 'mechanized' Pizzas that you get served at places like Pizza Hut et ... big steaks instead of the minuscule stuff we get served here ... basic good rustic food. If I go abroad though then id probably do the whole South Asian cuisine there. Probably open a takhat styled dhaba. Big fancy dreams lol ... I know.

And becoming an amateur race car driver, which would mean Id have to move abroad, purchase a track day car and hit the weekend track days, join a school, hone my skills etc

Both need money, and the 9-5 will get me the money!
