Now you really trying too hard. S3 had one the best snapper at its time. It was nowhere shit, similar was the case with S2

Nothing wrong with covering the entire market. When I had a 1.8inch screen, I used to think WOW 2.4 must be huge. When I had a 4.0inch screen, the S2 seemed like a huge phone. When I moved to GNexus, I said this is it.. Any bigger and the phone won't be usable with one hand.

I've been using a note 2 for the past 5 months with its big frickin screen and I LOVE it.
Times change. Plus some people might just want a phone with a huge screen, or a small tablet with cellular capabilities.

As for iPhone fans speaking of designs aesthetics... What's really bothering you here? That your precious white company with its INNOVATIVE EVERYTHING is starting to feel threatened by a cheap plastic phone maker? The S3 was the top selling Android last year, and yeah it was plastic.

The Note 2 was called ridiculously large too remember? It sold millions. It found a niche, turned it into major market segment.

I know right? It's like the majority voting for Zardari. You know the guy is shit, but gets the majority votes. Doesn't change the fact he's shit though. :wink2:

You're comparing illiterate Pakistani awaam with the tech-literate Android community. That's the point. Android users are not dumb (like most iFans).

My very own boss is a great example of iOS users. A few weeks back he walked in and showed me his iPhone 5. Asim how to use it! I set up the iTunes account, got him $20 balance, changed the store to US (a pain in the ass). Now he's fawning over his phone. But wait.. What did he find so impressive? Whatsapp :tv: Facetime :tv:

WOW this is like free video calling, and free messaging!

These things have been available on Android for ages. But like I always say.. iOS is the smart platform for the simple-minded.

Built-in video calling has been available in Android for ages? That is news to me.

Yaar if you're smartphones, you shouldn't be thinking about what's BUILT IN. Sure some features are good to have by default but to get the most out of your phone you HAVE to download stuff.

Skype. Plus I believe Google+ (hangout) features great video calling.. and also Google Talk.

That being said.. I was really impressed with the video quality of FaceTime.

With Facetime I can use the same ID to video chat on my Macbook and iPhone. And an iPad and iPod if I had one. No need to install anything, log into anything, register with anything or ask the other person to install. Like they say, 'it just works!'. Try doing this with Skype. It's a major pain in the ass.
Why else was your boss so star struck with Facetime; has he never used Skype before?

I don't understand these companies,

back in 2007 (before iPhone launch) i was a Nokia user. i used almost all High END N series phones but then Apple launched iPhone and i moved to it and never looked back (i was able to predict that if Nokia will not change their trend and would not bring something really good then they are going to be finished) but Nokia was doing the same mistake again and again Why don't they understand the need of time? that what others are willing to get ?

Then i used all iPhone models till iPhone 4. and got bored they just released each new model with no major change even they never changed the GUI of iOS so i moved to Galaxy S i9000. (Again i was able to predict that if Apple will not change their current trend and would not bring something new someone else {Most probably Samsung will take lead} but Apple also is doing the same mistake again and again don't know why they can't understand the need of time that what others are willing to get?

Then i used all Galaxy S models till S3. but now Samsung is doing the same shit, they really need to change their design and Build quality otherwise they will go down soon, (Again i am able to predict this but don't know why Samsung is not understanding this?)

I really liked Build Quality and design of HTC but they always disappointed me in terms of Camera, Display and Performance. when they launched HTC Sensation i predicted that they need to improve performance, camera and Display in order to compete with Samsung otherwise they will also go down. but no idea again that why HTC cannot understand this?

I am really sick of Samsung now, these mega phones looks same like S4 which is a flagship device of Samsung, while mega seems to be some mid range phones, wtf are they doing totally disappointed
Such companies have already spent millions on their end product. Change means experiments for a company which has a firm standing in the market which ultimately invites the risk factor. Wave was one such experiment which failed miserably. Samsung is trying hard to make the phones cheap by compromising on built qualities, stuffed by new features and yet launching phones for different target audience.
There is a life cycle of every product and currently Galaxy and iPhone are enjoying the pinnacle of their sales just like N series a few years ago.

Not sure what you are talking about. Skype uses the same id whatever device you are on.

Facetime would be more relevant if it had audio calling. Its not always practical to do video call.

i wonder if there is market for these giant ass phones which r lurking in the realm of tablets. y isnt any company making a 4.3 or 4.5 inch flagship device there is market for that too. sadly apple is the only one doing that,
which aint an option for someone like me i will buy something with that screen size and with latest and greatest hardware.
