Buddy, Ebay Canada! lol. I found a reseller and had my cousin order it. The reseller is in Hong Kong, but was a solid in terms of rep and all. So my cousin ordered it and then brought it with him from Canada.

Dude the phone looks brilliant! Surprisingly it's quite heavy! Like it must be the heaviest phone I've ever come across.....and I used to carry tabs around as a phone and this is heavier! lol. This phone came with Google Play Store installed and works fine with the apps I want, like Chrome, GMAIL and all. You just gotta install them and go through 'permission' settings to get the apps running smoothly.
The battery life is great so far.....I charged my phone Wednesday afternoon, and today (Friday) right now at noon its at 10%. And I stream music on my phone, watch youtube videos and check mail and msgs and all. It does take a good hour and more to fully charge it.....but that's understandable cos 4400mAH! Oh and the call quality is great with the new vibration tech. Voices are very clear and loud too! Infact, a person standing next to you may be able to hear the voice on the call.
As for the screen, what can I say.....it's gorgeous....I find myself just staring at the screen sometimes. I know the ratio is 17:9, but apps all adjust to the size and look great! Full screen and all. I've never been so excited for such a phone since the first Galaxy Note came out which I happily bought as well and had fond memories of. This phone is quite something.

Buddy Xiaomi sells there phones online in China....they have flash sales for this model. First time it went for sale in October, there were 30,000 units......they sold out in 40 seconds or so. lol.

Basically I bought it off a re-seller in Hong Kong through ebay Canada. I bet you the re-seller bought it for like its original price lol.

You know it is very clear! I was quite surprised by it. And it can be quite loud too. In a quite room, a person standing next to you could also hear the voice on the phone. Also, the sensor to turn the screen off when you put the phone to your ear......is pretty accurate! I havn't noticed any hiccups or so.

I love this phone!

thats good that ur loving it ... there is absolutely nothing to dislike in it ...
wish it comes down to my budget limit soon
