Not at all. Xbox doesn't have the flexibility the PC platform offers which its audience wants. Native 4K would be impressive, but being stuck with 30FPS for majority of the games isn't something PC gamers would find tempting.
As with every new console hardware launch, the specs and the ability to "code to the metal" on a closed hardware is blown out of proportion. This has always been the case and I don't see any reason why it would change now. Real world results in games seldom surpass (if at all) what is theoretically possible.
MS has their version of "checker boarding" tech so they know many developers would opt for that rather than hitting native 4K where they want to push more eye candy or achieve stable frame rates. Anyone expecting native 4K on all modern graphically intensive titles is in for disappointment.
"DX12 built on the GPU", as we have learned now, is part of the feature set on the current Xbox 1/S as well. Scorpio has an evolved version of that, but I don't recall it doing any wonders for XB1 beyond what was expected from that machine.
you are right but i personally have seen checkerboarding 4k and native 4k i gotta b honest there isnt much difference in it.. but it all depends on optimization..
pc will remain king for FPS and MP COOP games as its very easy thanks to steam and the chatting mechanisms etc.
4k 30fps in adventure games action games is good bcoz of consoles high motion blur u dont feel tht shit feeling u get as on a pc with 30fps.
it will mostly matter for FPS games. m not into much FPS games except siege and i dont think i care abt running that in 4k as once ur in game u dont even look at texture all u care abt is teamplay.
but if they gave scorpio price of gtx 1060 and it out performs 1080ti due to good optimizations thanks to being a console and single hardware as all games coming to pc are ports this will really be disappointing.

I love how Janarioo has turned from a hardcode PC gamer to Console defender in the span of the last few weeks
haha i wasnt into much defense of consoles until these 4k at amazing price devices came which really hit the spot
