As far as I've been told by the PG experts Lite-Touch will not notice the waves so even if wave 100 comes out It'll still play the game

Ok the conclusion, I think I have firmware 1.5 on my Lite-On.. Should I wait for LT or just go with 1.6?

a little waiting never killed anybody ... so you better just wait a while because wave 5 games have come out already[left4dead2] and 1.6 isn't compatible with them ...
unless you want an activation disc too

Well.. I dont think "No ETA" is equal to a "little wait" Lmao.. I think its a really long wait.. I have an Activation disc.. and a wave 4 game.. So I guess I'll go with 1.6 Lite-on... when LT comes I'll do that then.. so Cheers ! lol Thank you all..

How to play iXtreme 1.6 games on PAL

AOA ppl!

i have got an issue with my xbox JASPER PAL, i bought it three months back and now when i try to play any iXtreme 1.6 game, it doesnt play it, the situation is:

1. I have played FORZA MOTORSPORT 3 (iXTREME 1.6) on my PAL without that Activation/Boot Disk
2. Now when i am yearning to play Call Of Duty Modern Warfare 2 and others i am not able to altought i have used that activation/boot disk!!!! :frown:

Its like i ran the boot disk and i inseted the other one and it gave me the same error.

Do help me out ppl, i am sort of a person who would never try to open up his own console and start tweaking it.

^ Maybe you Activation Disc is bad. Forza 3 does not require activation disc. MW2 does. Try again. Insert activation disc, let it run, eject it, insert MW2, play.

BANNED FROM XBOX LIVE..

daaaaaaaamn, i only bought Xbox for Live multiplayer. It's onlt a 1 month Jasper, and i've been playing GRID online almost everyday for the past 3 weeks. Havent played newer games, not even halo ODST of fears of being banned. And yesterday evening when i switched on my XBOX. it says i've been BANNED..

damnit .. I WANNA SOLUTION, or the only option left for me here is to sell off my xbox (which i cannot do so now, as i dont have enough money with me at the moment)

Please, help me here. Is there any solution ??

SeLL games and Flash Xboxes with ixtreme firmware ...

if u have a lite-on drive .. then ix1.61 is not available for lite-ons yet .... u will have to get the activation disc .. check my thread in the market place .. ill be more than happy to help you out

yeah ill patch the games too .. but patched games are for those who dont play on live or are banned .. i recommend the activate disc ..

well .. maybe u have ix1.51 .. cuz 1.51 plays wave3 and the activate disc doesnt work on 1.51

I am assuming shopwala's dont have idea what a wave is or can I ask them to give me wave 3 patched copies of games.... Btw got 4 games today MW2 didnt work Tekken Didnt work GTA didnt work ...Fifa 2010 worked ....

if u have 1.6 ... then u need the activate disc .. or if u have a drive any other than lite-on .. then u can also get the firmware upgraded to avoid the activation disc process .. check my thread in marketplace

What if one has ixtreme 1.6 and wants to play OLDER games, which are NOT stealth patched. (Like "The darkness" and crackdown) is there anyway to play them? And in the future (With future ixtremes) will there be a way to play them?

And what should be the first thing a person does when he gets an unmodded 360? Update it? And then get it flashed?

Well u can play the old titles,they must be stealth patched if u buy from PG or maybe malaysian , i've played darkness on this firmware, even tried online too

you have to update your dashboard otherwise it wont work ... if you are banned then just use the manual method of burning the update from download.microsoft.com...9_8955.zip

Save it as "$SystemUpdate_Fall09_8955.zip" anywhere on your computer.
Unzip the File.

Copy the contents from the unzipped folder onto the root of your flash drive
.
Safely remove the flash drive from your computer and plug it into a USB port on your Xbox 360 console. If your console is on, turn it off, then back on. The update program will start automatically.

Select Yes, update now. When you see the new dashboard, you're done.
