Tired of the poor app support?I'm thinking of exchanging my L920 for an iPhone 5
It only took me 1 month for that lol
Only 2 apps that are bugging me -.- Facebook messenger and whatsapp. Both are available but just not good enough. I know whatsapp will be updated and it will get better but Facebook is not looking at anything other than Android and iOS. I wonder how the resale of L920 is. I'm only just thinking though, currently iPhone 5 is out of my budget anywayTired of the poor app support?

Exactly the facebook app is shitty as hell. The only two reasons I left Windows Phone was the lack of a decent forum app and some apps like whatsapp. The resale of Windows Phones are pretty shitty here in Karachi, went to sale my Lumia 620 and I was getting a hard time getting a buyer who would offer me price somewhere above 17k. Settle for Nexus 4 for nowOnly 2 apps that are bugging me -.- Facebook messenger and whatsapp. Both are available but just not good enough. 3 hours of Lumia 920, and i was completely clueless on what to do afterwards. Felt ... like someone had taken my life out of me
One example, I was used to Tapatalk and the Boad Express on WP8 was giving me nightmares. (free khata on a friend's behalf)
However, without any intention of trashing a WP thread ... The experience was amazing. I have been acknowledging the fact that Windows Phone can be a Great Device, as a phone. But once you run out of "Free" apps ... you just can't do anything except letting it go and get something else.
After those 3 hours, coming back to Android felt like ... the best thing ever happened to me
The fact alone that i can alteast get paid apps for free, was refreshing enough. :crazy:
Even I bought the 620 with such high esteem. Ended up selling just after 3 weeks

This. I hated that stupidity of an app so much. Being an Android fan, the experince was sort of limited but I managed. Then came whatsapp and Facebook apps, and I absolutely had to change the phone. Bottom line, Windows Phone 8 is great but the abysmal app support will kill the platform.
I would strongly advise you stay away from Windows Phones for now. Sure they are great and all but at the end of the month you will surely end up selling the phone and that too at a low-price because the resale of these phones suck. Get an iOS or Android, whichever takes your fancy.
If I buy a WP, it will only be a secondary device. For my primary phone, nothing can take Android's place (I can maybe get through a couple of days with an iPhone 5 though)
Lumia 920 users, help me out are there any good screen protection films and silicon cases ? If so tell me from where did you buy them

not much of the app user, my experience has beeen good so far. the os is very simple, yes confusing at first due to absence of just icons. but u get hang of it. other then that , im still enjoying it a lot

Just finished Diablo 4 season in hurry to play Fallout 4 but gamepass released another banger in the form of Star Wars on April 25th. Gamepass is a steal man.
