Hey guys,

I'm looking for a wireless broadband provider in islamabad. I can't use the USB modems PTCL or Worldcall have, as i need access for multiple pc's. So far i only know of Wi-tribe & Wateen that are providing wireless modems that can be used without a telephone line. Does anyone know of any other providers?

I don't really have that much faith in Wateen due to past experience but i don't know if they've improved now. I'll be using the connection in F-11, so if anyone has any experience with these then please let me know.

As far as packages go:

Price/Download limit:

Wi-tribe 1 MBPS - 1350/14GB or 1600/17GB

Wateen 1 MPBS- 1499/Unlimited (plus tax)

So i guess Wateen has the advantage of unlimited download but it'll be more expensive. Probably 1600+ with tax. Which one should i go for? Thanks for the help.

Wateen if you are a download freak.
Wi-tribe if you want to play games at decent pings, still considering that its a wireless.

wi-tribe is better then wateen (customer service is good for both). I found both to give stable download speeds/pings/latency while online gaming (though i only play wow).Wi-tribe was a lil bit better...am in lahore so I wouldnt kno anything about signal strength in ISB. All this depends on signal strenght as well.

Whicheva 1 u go for, DO NOT go for ptcl Evo...it will give ya a headache and u will feel like destroying your pc..in simple words its shit, download speed is shit, package is unlimited BUT u wont b able to download anythin as the speed suxxx be it daytime or night. Oh and customer service is shit. 3.1Mbps is just false advertising. Did numerous speed tests and the best I got was 0.51mbps with maximum signal strength.

Wateen is the way to go for coz it has a unlimited package as well and pings for online games is also good soo..
Wateen FTW!!!

go for wateen if want unlimeted download and i think they r also upgrding their nat to fiber optics

    I have a PS5 but I am not satisfied with the experience. I am currently saving for a 4080 64 GB rig soon. Bit will wait for Pro if performance improves. This gen has been so bad I don't plan on buying consoles anymore for AAA gaming.

    As per WCCF Tech review, Xbox Series X doesn't even maintain a consistent FPS and sometimes drops into the mid-20fps range. That's unacceptable, tbh.

    Score 1 for game pass. I wouldn't pay full price for this at retail either.

    Just downloaded my first legit digital PC game on GoG at a discount of $8: Two Point Hospital. The same team behind Theme Hospital Two Point Studios now part of Sega. And I am having more fun than most recent AAA games except of course BG3.
