Is the device getting overheated?

Yeah sometimes one restart also doesnt help and I just factory resetted the device to get it from 3mbps back to 21mbps speed.

Pretty similar to yours. Yesterday was especially slow..was not getting speed test results over 5-6 mb even with 2 signal bars. I was initially getting between 17-19mb when first installed.

Will try restarting/resetting the modem today.

I did experience this sort of issue during the first few days but it hasn't happened during this week yet. My speed tests vary between 14-15mb to upto 35mb throughout the day but on torrents I'm getting around 1.6-1.8mb/ sec consistently. I think I'm getting comparatively better speed because i get solid 3 signals at my place

Their speeds do vary throughout the day but I'll probably stick with them because ptcl's infrastructure is shit in my my area and I don't have any other alternative.

What features does the router have?

The router is very sensitive when it comes to signals. Antennae support was definitely needed in this.

Had to carefully place it to get these better speeds.

Yeah...I don't think I will renew my 150gb package either when my "free month" is over or I may just get cheapest package as a backup to my ptcl.

BTW jazz has become really better where I live and will probably get their mbb device.

My download speeds dropped to around 6mb for few hours yesterday. Every few days I face this issue for few hours and then it automatically goes back to normal.

The service might improve with time considering the tower in my area was installed just 2 weeks back and they might still be working on it
