[/FONT]Somehow this passed us by: Information is Beautiful has a wonderful visualization of the current state of telecommunications court cases. It's actually a little out of date now -- Apple is now countersuing Motorola -- but otherwise the data is mostly up-to-date.
The infographic also includes snippets of each law suit, which is handy for understanding the overall picture. Some of the lawsuits are hilarious -- check out Kodak suing Samsung for "image storage & movie previews" -- aren't patents awesome?
Incidentally, I think I just stumbled across a new game: go to Google and start typing "apple suing"... and see what suggestions pop up! It works well for "microsoft suing" too.
