What's the story behind your nickname? Why did you choose it?


Let me start.

My nickname "Blastwave" comes from this post-apocalyptic comic Gone with the Blastwave - Because war can be boring too.


Obviously this thread applies to everyone with an actual nickname, not those here by their real name :crazy:

Well, when I joined all those years ago, I actually just created the account to search for MW2 hack for multiplayer since a friend of mine gave me a tutorial link of a thread here. So, I just picked my nick as 'xcvb2012' as I never thought I would stick here.

But then I started coming back to PG and started exploring it and stuff. Then when I realized that my internet life is incomplete without PG, I asked Jshack to change my nick to something good. And I guess I was in a halo phase at the time so I choose 'Spartan 117'. Code name of the protagonist of the halo series, Master Chief.

I had just learnt the word 'inferno' at that time and it seemed cool. But when i registered using it, it gave an error that the nickname has already been taken(got to know a lot later who it was :laugh1. So I just remove the 'i' and placed an 'e' instead
