The title is self explanatory. I just want to get an idea before getting it unlocked. Back in the days(2 years back) it used to cost around Rs. 8000/-

It's an iPhone 4 vodafone UK

Any iphone on ATnT can easily be unlocked for 700-1000rs. On other networks, it is much expensive ranging b/w 10-16k

Vodafone UK unlocking will cost you about 4-6k depending on the unlocker. It would have been much cheaper if it were a Vodafone Australia iphone, but UK locked charges are higher.

4-6k for iPhones only? Or for Android ones too? A friend of mine brought an S III locked to Vodafone UK and unlocked it for 1,500rs.

1. Doesn't Galaxy SIM Unlock ask for an in-app purchase?

2. Stock based ROM = So we just flash a Stock ROM from SamMobile? Through Odin?

3. Can I have a link with the code? Also, doesn't the code work with only one device?

EDIT: OHH THAT METHOD! My friend tried it on a Rogers S III (SGH-I747M) and it didn't work.

My friend who brought the Vodafone S3. His S3 model was I9300 (International). The one with 1GB RAM. All I had to do is Put it in Download mode, flash Stock ROM. Reboot and it works? If so then lucky me. I'll do it next time I get a locked phone.

Yes just make sure you are flashing the correct non-carrier Rom meant for that particular device model

iPhones only. Actually all these factory unlocking services are available at eBay for 45dollars on average for vodafone UK iphones but here in Pakistan, the unlocker will take his own profit also.

Hi ,
Nowadays unlocking using factory unlock method are too costly. As an alternative you can unlock your Iphone using Remote unlocking method. It's a easy and safe way to unlock iphones.Recently i safely unlocked my iphone 4 locked to uk vodafone network using remote unlocking method in this site Superunlockcodes.com at low cost (i.e £ 56.82 British Pounds). If you are intersted in this method visit this site.
