Remember that bloke who claimed to had created a car that runs on water back in 2012?

It broke the laws of thermodynamics but our idiotic gov and some scientists hopped on board without even trying to understand how it worked.

I read that he never showed up for 'scientific' examination of his car at NUST but no specifics on what happened afterwards.

So I'm just wondering - whatever happened to him? Was he able to con away money from the Gov. or did he end up in jail for fraud etc? I mean he was all over the news and gov. was all in bed with him. So if he ended up making them all look stupid - someone must've been out to get the guy?

A video to remind you of his tall claims:

And this one where a renounced scientists actually believes him: https://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=K-8fPcGcl18

well someone made a whole wikipedia page to explain his greatness ..... lolx

Wikipedia page se iqtabass. jab PM ne 3 rukni committee bana di thi..

"Upon hearing about his invention, the prime minister of Pakistan, Raja Pervaiz Ashraf, formed a committee consisting of three people. The committee members were Khursheed Shah, the minister of religious affairs, Mir Changez Khan Jamali, the federal minister for Science and Technology, and Dr. Asim Hussain, the advisor to the Prime Minister on Petroleum and Natural Resources.[SUP][8][/SUP][SUP][9][/SUP] Out of the three members, Khursheed Shah has publicly supported Ahmed's invention.[SUP][10]"[/SUP]

The problem with his invention was that it required hydrogen + oxygen separately in order to burn them and produce energy + water as byproduct.

Hydrogen + Oxygen seperately, which would produce equivalent amount of energy compared to petrol, are more expensive than petrol/fuel, and also extremely dangerous to be used in a car without any kind of pressurized protection (because they burn 3x more violently than petrol if combined and heated).

Separating water into Hydrogen and Oxygen requires energy to be inputted from somewhere. He probably used mains power supply as his energy source, which is very inefficient.

Tl;dr, it requires more energy to use this method than simply using petrol. Therefore it will be more costly to you in the form of electricity bill.

Simply put, the energy required to break hydrogen and oxygen is more than the energy they give out, therefore in the beginning it looks like its working for a bit but slowly it would die out and external energy will be required again.

This video explains it quiet well: https://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=K-8fPcGcl18

So my question is - whatever happened to him? I mean clearly it's a fraud but how did he manage it at this grand level where you see him rubbing shoulders with high dignitaries and getting full media coverage? What was his game? What did he get out of it and what became of him?

haha that's funny :D, in simple words the main problem engineers are facing is they can not charge the batteries on the same rate as they lose it for doing electrolysis ( splinting water molecule in hydrogen and oxygen). In short you need more energy to produce this fuel than it creates.

This smart as* was claiming against a thermodynamic law :p. Almost every buddy made fun of us just because the media covered this event like an heroic act. Bit**s

Alan wake 2 is yet to recover it's development costs. Due to no physical release and no steam launch.
You reap what you sow. This is what happens when you take away choice from consumers. Even with 88% split going to developers, they can't recoup costs. Meanwhile, Helldivers 2 is a massive hit for Sony thanks in big part to Steam.
