Soo yesterday morning i wake up to upgrade my 2mbps broadband connection to 4mbps which was about 1999rs with UNLIMITED download atleast wat it said on thr website soo i call them up and they say no sir the 4mbps connection has a download LIMITE of 50gb and i was like wtf then y does it say on ur website that it is unlimited so he gpes on about it and in the end says that if u want unlimited download then u would have to pay an extra 1000rs and again i was like wtf and now i am stuck with my old connection

Its old news man, PTCL are charging 1000 RS extra on all packages above 4 MBPS limit if you exceed 50 GB downloading limit.

Dude you should keep checking Broadband & Internet threads on PG to avoid those suspense in future.

@Blast, I never liked these wireless connections like Wi-tribe/Qubee etc because of their capping habit. Just buy a simple broadband and hook it with wireless router and you save like 50% charges as in those wireless ISPs. T.T

Wateen has a download cap too, you know. 50 GB I think.

Listed in their fair usage policy.

That's the only reason I left wi-tribe, then wateen, and later PTCL and moved to WorldCall 4MB @ 2000 per month, which worked miles better than PTCL for me.

Salam Bro : Ive got a question I have been using 1MB student pkg for the last 4 months and now have decided to upgrade to 2Mb but when i called today the helpline guy told me that the 2MB first 3 months 1MB rate offer has now ended meaning I would be paying 1499 from the first month.... You have any idea about this and did you pay 1MB rate for the first 3 months ??
