MULTI wat hard disk is for?

everybody the question sounds stupid but is really important
is the hard disk in 360 and ps3 is just like pc hard disk in which u iust have to install the game and throw the disk away or u have to put the game in the dvd rom even if u are playing from hard disk
need a quick answer

Full game is not installed in the harddisk. You still need to put the DVD/Blu-ray in the drive to play. Installation only helps with loading the game a bit quicker.

I bought it from Playstation club liberty for Rs. 28,000.

Blu-ray is the disk used in PS3. It can hold upto 50gb data on a single disk. All PS3 games (other then those available on PSN store) are on blu-ray. Think of it as next version of media storage (movies, games), the same as DVD was in 2000.
