[SOLVED] "Unboxing Zone" - Should be kept alive for its real purpose

As the title says, i just want to raise the concern that the unboxing zone thread is for unboxing purposes only, then why the admins or mods not looking into those threads which are just being dragged by chit and chat and which is totally irrelevant to the unboxing purposes.

I will not point out anyone as it is clearly visible that there are threads which have been dragged for more than 250 pages.

Please look into the matter as due to these actions people who really participate in unboxing zone, there threads ultimately go down and they might get deprived of having appreciation and the time they put to make their products visible to the fellow pg members get wasted in the end.

For long i have ignored the absolutely irrelevant chit chat in the Unboxing Threads, hoping that the users involved will show a little decency themselves and take their personal chatter to VMs/PMs. Since i didn't find any one complaining at that time, i postponed any needed action. But now, someone has finally raised that point.

Since there are only a handful of people involved and basically one major thread (The Mauler), i am not going to ruin it for everybody by trying to make more unneeded rules. However, i do expect the involved to understand the problem at hand.

Also, [MENTION=8932]Dark Sith[/MENTION]! it was created in 2011. If you are going to keep the opening post updated, then arrange the things in order to make the latest things visible. I am going to clean the thread a little bit and going to unlock it, but i hope you understand how unneeded discussions are ruining "The Unboxing Zone" for everybody.

I suggest keep it within Unboxing section. He can just limit his Thread to hardware unboxing related things. Just clean all the irrelevant discussion. Actually He has his own dedicated Thread for his unboxing and stuff, so few chit chat sometimes can happened, this doesn't mean he is meaningly overcoming all other unboxing threads.

@Dark Sith i guess you need to limit your irrelevant discussion and keep track your discussion towards hardware and post only useful information regarding to Unboxing. Update your First post with undated Rigs and i mean with all your Rigssss so People get some idea exactly about your new hardware.

ok will limit the dicussions to hardware / its mostly hardware and benchmarks and such but i got your point ....thanks for re opening . yeah i had that idea of puting the new stuff in some sort of an index in the 1st post --actually it needs refinement which i have some ideas on how to do it --will do boss .
