Well its been a couple of years since i bought my Alienware 18 its served me faithfully just as the one I had before it did.

Now its time for something new, this time around i wanted a laptop that was small in size but powerful in performance, initially was looking for the Razor blade 2017 but since it wasn't available locally for a reasonable price nor did it have a G-sync panel i opted to stay with Alienware and found that the 15R3 was the perfect fit for me

The 15R3 i have is the top of the line model boasting

i7-7820HK
GTX 1070 8GB
15.6 FHD 120Hz G-Sync Display
16GB Ram
256GB Nvme + 1TB HDD

The Build quality of the Laptop is great strong and sturdy just like the older models.

Performance is just amazing it ran all games i threw at it on Ultra 1080p with FPS above 60 all the time, the CPU hovers around 80C with the GPU at around 70C on load which is great the cooling system does a good job of managing the heat so there was no thermal throttling at all

Finally we have powerful portable gaming machines which can give a desktop like experience.

The GPU is the desktop variant with a slight down-clock so it can stay within power limitations.

Thermals like i said are under control with the GPU at 70-75C on load and the CPU on 80C which is decent for a unlocked laptop chip

The price you can find out on Alienware's website

this is a very impressive laptop
will you use an external monitor with it?
Um this is going to be strictly portable since i have a decent desktop PC with an Ultrawide display as my main system.

That`s a sweet Laptop man congrats !

My desktop GTX 1070 max goes to 67-69C under load. So your temps look very good for a laptop !

Not sure to be honest since the Previous 3 AW machines i bought i imported from the US though DHL/FedEx but this was a local purchase from a Dell Re-seller here in LHR
How You imported from US ? Through PG members here that offer import services ? Because on their official website when we enter address there is no place for Pakistan...we can only select any of the state of US only.
.
Secondly you said "Dell re-seller in lahore"...does that re seller is selling "brand new" or "certified refurbished" alienwares ?

Dell shipped to a relatives house in the US then it got shipped to me.

Yeah the shop sells new laptops from Alienware, Msi and Asus with International Warranty

If you have doubts you can always check the Laptops service tag online to see the Ship date and warranty period

You reap what you sow. This is what happens when you take away choice from consumers. Even with 88% split going to developers, they can't recoup costs. Meanwhile, Helldivers 2 is a massive hit for Sony thanks in big part to Steam.
