Did they say anything about launching to other Phases of Bahria?Just got TW GPON installed, and I have to say I am extremely impressed with everything.
They arrived exactly at 11 AM, as promised. Started work immediately, the thicker fiber cable only came till the gate, and the drop cable used from the gate to the inside of the house was a much thinner drop cable. It was installed very neatly, clips/ducts were used wherever necessary.
The ONT they provided is a slightly newer model of the Huawei one that was given to other customers. It can't be wall mounted, so I found a really small table to put it on. The exact model number is the Huawei HG8425Q2, there is no info about it online, so I'll post a picture in a bit.
Once the cables were connected, the connection was active immediately unlike the whole day that I had to wait with PTCL. It was configured automatically and the ONT started working on the first boot. I asked about Static IP, and they said I had to call, which I did, and they said between 24-48 hours I'll get a call and an email from TES about Static IP activation. For now, I'm still under their CGN.
The guy tried running a few speedtests on his phone, but it wasn't going above 40 Mbps on 2.4GHz, but since this is a dual-band ONT, I told him to connect to the 5G band to test, and then tested again using ethernet, got the full 70 Mbps down and 70 up.
He checked optical power to make sure it was within normal ranges, did a few more tests, asked if I was satisfied and then proceeded again to check all the cabling outside and ask me if everything was okay about it.
Very professional guys, they did cut up a few cables, but unlike PTCL who just left them around, these guys cleaned up after themselves, had all of their own tools, and did a very neat job.
More to say when I've actually used it for downloading, streaming and gaming.

Ok so doing the tests for you and it clearly reported the worst results i had seen but maybe due to the peak time just before 9pm who knows. Also same city/country ha variability e.g in singapore select one server you get under 100 ping and on another its close to 200 similar in india from close to 100 to over 350. Oh all the tests are on wifi so could be other people at home using internet as well.
Yup checked again now at 10.30 everything all international servers are back to 19-20 up and down.

Okay so yesterday over email, they were super reluctant to give out static IP, and said we'll fix your NAT type issues for you without Static IP.
This morning I get an email with my new static IP and was told to reboot my ONT. I did and it's enabled now. Weird, but awesome.

TES has been great so far. Had some disconnection issue this morning, emailed them, got a call back within 10 mins. Issue was fixed immediately. That's what you call customer support. Very impressed.
Speed is great, I usually get around 7.5 - 8.5 MB/s, sometimes higher on IDM, haven't tried torrents yet as I don't really have anything to download.
Pings to EU are great, sometimes they go as low as 130 ms while playing Fortnite or BF4. Very stable, no lag spikes at all.
Definitely worth it to switch from PTCL.

Yeah using PTCL's GPON service, quite satisfied but not with there routers because of their very less range ...
I must say they have a good customer service as i was having a problem that everytime you would turn off the box and then turn it off after more than 15 min or so the language would revert to Chinese so I emailed them the problem and their guy came after calling took it and replaced it after 1 day gave it back on a Sunday fixing the problem. I have yet to check it properly but let's see.
