Demonworld!
Ill try 2 solve them now

4) Add all the numbers on the left pie to get 4. multiply 4 by 25 and you see it will be 100 meaning u can multiply 1.8 by 25 to get 45%. 45-32 = 13

5) multiply .5 by 25 to get 12.5%.. 20-12.5=7.5% increase.. same increase on year 3 so .2x5= 1mil... (1+ 1milx.75)= 1.75mil

Eh Im probably wrong. I dont really knwo if Im right or not. Ill try the others later. My head hurts just seeing them

This is the Unilever MT test, no? Did you clear it?

The answers btw should be, (in order of the pictures you posted.)

1) C - The no of students with grade 3 exam in 2004 will be 895 and total will be 995. Just assume that everyone is below grade 3 is passing their exam with a 100% success rate.

2) C - The passing rate is 85% 55/55+10 in division A. Since 22 people passed the grade 3, the total people that gave the exam is 24 (85% of 24 is 22). And since these 24 people must have the grade 2 exam to give the grade 3 exam, simply add them to 41 (those who have passed the grade 2 exam as given in the data) and the answer will be 67.

3) E - This is quite easy actually. Add all the percentage increases. It turns out to be 17.5%. Sine this is year on year increase the total increase must be above 17.5% and the only option above that is 18.8%. Mathematically, 1.039*1.042*1.031*1.025*1.017*1.021=1.18

4) A - Revenue in year 1 is 1.8 mil, in year 2 it is 1.6 mil (0.32*5). The difference between these 2 is 0.2 mil which is 11% of 1.8 mil

5) B - The difference in revenue between yr 1 (0.5 mil) and yr 2 (20% of 5mil = 1 mil) is 0.5 mil so the same difference is carried to year 3 making it 1.5 mil and the 20% increase in revenue (1 mil in total) adds a further 0.2 mil (20% of 1 mil) bringing it to a grand total of 1.7 mil
