Totally Badass Mortal Kombat Teaser (Game/Movie)?

Most reports suggest its a pitch for a movie. I do hope it gets made but I don't think WB has the balls to make a hard-R-rated version.
It actually is a test video which will be presented to Warner Bros who now hold the copyrights etc for the Mortal Kombat Franchise.. If they accept.. then this movie will be possible..
Am I the only one who thinks it sucked? FOR THE LOVE OF GOD THIS IS NOT MORTAL KOMBAT! sheesh. Making it realistic is no brainer, I want the ol' classic sorcery, outworld etc not some asshole sitting in the interrogation cell asking things like who is behind 9/11 or you give us Osama Bin Laden and we give you a clean record.

The Test-trailer kicks ass!Im definately looking forward to this.Hope they add more characters in the full movie.The main plus point is that a different MK character is the protagonist.
Since MK has a big roster,there might be a chance of MK Rebirth getting sequels.

Dude,if they had decided to make a MK vs DC (with that 'realistic' theme) THEN it would suck,but this is like the "re-imagining" of the MK characters.Each character having a background that is actually possible sounds way better.

I have heard that it is now unplayable in countries which do not support handful of third world countries not recognized by Sony like Pakistan. Steam is a true global platform.Then they cry that console gaming is dying. -
