i have seen many members here suffering from port forwarding issues & i have noticed in shiro that if your connection is established properly then you cannot access the router . don't know if it happens to every one . so if incase net is working properly then u can't access router on the other hand if you unplug the line then obvsly your net gonna dc & you will not be able to check any micro torrent user guide forum all that . so my point is there is another simple way to forwrd ports directly through your router . If any one gets this problem then feel free to pm me to know a very simple procedure

no need to know what port forwarding is, nothing to know in it.
if you wanna know, use Google..

just switch your upnp on in your modem setting.
for downloading torrents use utorrent.
and use pirate bay, mininova to find torrents.

may be for public trackers it doesn't matter but for private trackers you have to seed back to 1:1 atleast & you can do that with ease if you are "connectable " with other peers . there are some trackers which keeps the record whether the user is connectable or not

in simple words port forwarding allows other networks to connect with you . if your ports of your respective client is not working properly then other connections will not be able to reach you in the result your whole bittorrent traffic can be effected .( mostly uploading )

still not able to forward port on mt 880

in earlier post a guy shared an html which yet again showed the help for Adsl router mt 880 v4

and ptcl provides us with simple mt 880 kindly would somebody in this forum help me out on how to forward port on huawei mt 880 simple router no version just the simple one and to correct u again the port foreward site guide for mt880 is actually the guide for mt 882 not 880

hey i have a 1mb ptcl dsl connection. On some torrents i get 100kbps speed but in most torrents i get between 15-50 kbps. i have forwarded my port too. The same torrents on worldcall give maximum speed. whts the problem? is it coz my upload speed is slow in ptcl? is there any way i can increase my upload speed?

that depends on the number of seeds, always download the torrent with a good no of seeds and less number of leechers.

More seeds(people uploading)=Fasster download

Be choosy while picking up the torrent files, take those torrent files which are higher in seeds and less in leeches. Thats the only solution.

If u can get a private torrent invite that would be more awesome coz they give u hell of a bandwidth ratio.
