I tried playing dragons dogma amd max payne 3 both worked up until 5 minutes into the game and then i got the error fatal crash intercepted. my xbox has the rgh thing I guess

gyts just one question...........is is necessary to purchase an External HDD for playing on my JTAG console?????

cuz these days m under a lot of financial burden, laptop busted, camera got stolen, need to buy a new cell phone, have to go to Karachi and what not......so buying external HDD is totally out of the question!! Cant I just play the game via DVD??? Please reply?

it is not necessary.U can play it off the internal hdd but ur hdd is quite small(4gb).so u will need to get an external one.

It is not a HDD, but the internal flash chip (4gb) bro.

I could give you an OEM 250gb M$ hdd for your console if you want, but if you can't spend the $$, try getting a 16gb or 32 corsair voyager. It's read-speeds are top-notch as compared to the alternatives in the market. If you don't mind waiting a bit longer for the game to load, pocket the 16gb Kingston in the market (~PKR750 on galaxy) as it is the cheapest method available, but I would recommend the Corsair USBs.

bro imo if you dont ve an hdd, you're under utilizing ur jtag/rgh.. the kool apps, freedom of running games disc free and xbox dlcs, you need to ve an hdd. There is no point in spending money on rgh and not having an hdd to enjoy it.

My suggestion, possibly cheapest option; you must ve at least 1 or 2 ide hdds lying idle at home, or can be bought dirt cheap .. you get an ide to usb adapter, format the hdd to fat 32 and use it as external hdd. Loading time may differ, but it wont be by a lot..

However, using external usb, hdd will not let you play DLCs !! you can only run them via internal hdd!

yes this idea of ide to usb adapter looks pretty good....
you can play games from DVDs, but many games will ask you to update.... to avoid the updates, you need to copy the game and delete the systemupdate folder..... so a hard drive for JTAG xbox is a must have thing...
also DLC's are working on external USB hard drive... there is a method to inject the DLC's

how does it automatically swap disc , pls explain .

just for example i want to copy max payne 3 2 disc on my usb hdd

i insert the 1st disc and eg make a folder in games director mxpayne d1 / and mxpayned2

freestyle dash has a plugin for swapping the discs..
if you have copied the max payne 3 then you need to copy the game in the following path
hdd1:/max payne 3/disc 1
hdd1:/max payne 3/disc 2

for usb hard disk

usb0:/max payne 3/disc 1
usb0:/max payne 3/disc 2

the naming should be in the same format like disc 1 and disc 2....
if this does not work, then make sure that you have installed freestyledashplugin...
its working like a charm with all games...

also remember to add the scan path in FSD content settings.
no need to play with ini settings... FSD will do it automatically.... that method is obsolete and pathetic

jtag Guide

High to All

Just got my xbox 360 jtaged
Installed xex menu in flash
Then I downloaded a game from torrent
But its size is above 4 GB (8 GB)
It can't be copied on usb formatted for xbox as its fat and ntsc is required for transferring greater than 4 G
What am I missing ?
Where to install xex
-in Xbox Hard Disk or Flash
How to play downloaded games??

Don't worry about that, once you've downloaded the game ISO you'll have to convert into either GOD format or XeX format to play on the 360, in both these formats the game is divided into multiple files of under 4GB each so they'll fit on easily.

To convert an ISO to GOD format use the program called "ISO2GOD".

Hi guys, its noob question time

I have some questions before getting my 360 jtagged - hope someone can help:

1 - Are there different 'quality' of chips when jtagging the 360? If so which ones and what is the best one? How can I tell when getting it done from a shop?
2 - I know there is a 'delay' when booting - how long is the delay?
3 - Are there any known issues with jtag currently (except boot delay)- anything related to playing old games, latest games, up comming titles, arcade or Downloadable contents?
4 - Any risk that leads to system hardware complication? Processor/GPU over heating?
5 - Does it require to be updated from time to time like LT?

My console details:

Xbox 360 120GB Elite Jasper
Drive: Lite-on
MFR Date: 2009-11-07
Dash: 2.0.13599.0

Having checked my console details - is it recommended to do Jtag or simple LT?

And finally let me throw the biggest noob question here - will this console be jtagged or RGH?

bro you can find all the answers, just by reading the previous pages... but lucky for you i am free

there are few out in the market, but unfortunately unless you dig a lot of info on their shapes and designs you can't really tell... OR you can go to the PG reputable modders, thats the safest bet.

Depending on the dashboard and the level of expertise of the modder, 6 secs to 2mins.. Since ur dash is 13599 you'll get decent loading times...

Not really, just beware of not updating via disc, there is a way around to it too. Plenty of tutorials available.

Their are certainly risks associated with installing or tweaking the chip, so dont walk into any random shop to get it done.. But if you mean after its successfully installed, not really. Yet to see any one report..

5 - Does it require to be updated from time to time like LT?

Dash update, yes... that you can do it your self easily.. Follow the tutorial to the word.

I hope this was helpful to you, you however didn't ask for the price/cost ... roughly from 3k to 4.5k depending from whom you get it done..There are 2 modders in lahore ( modmaster and xboy hot) and 2 in karachi (faizy and rahim aka modmonsta )

Yes - I will go to a reputable PG modder (xboyhot most likely as i've done mods from him before)

Now I know the questions I have next is probably answered in the previous 100+ pages :S - but my next set of questions leads to dual NAND concerns.

1 - Is Dual NAND useful for an xbox that is already on LT? I would like the stock xbox incase I ever feel like going live (I am not banned - but not sure about flag).
2 - Can I put a stock firmware over the LT so I have a clean system and Dual NAND to RGH.
3 - How much does the dual NAND mod cost?

Lastly

4 - Chips - this is related to both RGH and Dual NAND - If I go for a regular quality chip - will it affect anything?

Apparently you're confusing Lt firmware and Jtaggin/RGH... DUAL nand is a way in which you ve the option to either boot the console normally or via glitching the processor to run unassigned codes. it has nothing to do with the LT firmware.. which is only there to run the pirated games in the first place. I personally wouldn't want to spend a lot of extra money on dual nand, as there is a very heavy chance Ishtiaq bhai may not offer you the dual nand service at all and/or @ 3k pkrs.. Best you contact the likes of Modmonsta rahim(khi) 0344 445 7717 Or ishtiaq bhai 0333-483 5644 directly to get the rates...

Lastly, i ve yet to see anyone with dual nand rgh.. and really can't comment on the price or implication using it on live.. But if you;re a hard core online gamer, You can still play online for free using X-linkkai, its an underground online gamer community for you to get the online experience for free! BUT its not xbox live..

guys i downloaded this "Resident Evil 6 and Carrier Command GOD Jtag/RGH ONLY TTrls (NO RARS)" i only downloaded Resident Evil 6, now Resident evil 6 folder is in folder named "43430819" just like Dlc and contains about 48 Data files, i need assistance on how to install it on my external Hard disk, do i have to inject it like dlx/Xbla? using USBXTAFGUI????​
