The one I'm testing:
https://cccambox.com/homepage.html (trying out their one-month plan)
The one I didn't find earlier on:
https://ethertv.com/pricing/
It's cheaper per month if you purchase the yearly plan, and contains fewer channels... but it's not cheaper if you purchase the monthly plan. The per month cost is around 500 rupees if you purchase an annual subscription - and most foreign channels are there. Unfortunately, there's no way to test out the reliability without purchasing it. Most channels seem to stream fine, but some keep buffering whilst others don't load. EPG data quality varies (as in, some providers give you a reliable EPG whilst others are patchy). The domain it accesses is tv.justcccam.info. This info is based on the first (top) link.
They have HD and non-HD links - you can tell there's a difference (HD is obviously sharper). But their non-HD links are still much better than potato-quality PTCL.
The first link also has Pakistani channels. The second one doesn't (perhaps that's why it's cheaper?)
Finding an app to stream these channels on Chromecast (my main condition) is a pretty big pain-point. Otherwise, VLC has the ability to search channels in a sea of 5000 channels (Kodi doesn't) but has a very basic, bare-bones interface, and seems to stop streams/glitch out sometimes.
Also, so far, I can only stream one channel at a time (if I attempt to stream another channel, it'll work for a few seconds before the previously-streaming channel stops).
Probably best to purchase a cheap Android STB and configure that instead of figuring out how to use the computer to relay it to Chromecast reliably (because VLC isn't, and that's the only thing that seems to want to stream content).
Pings: well - depending on the DNS server and the route, pings have been brought down from ~170ms to ~120ms simply because several websites are now being routed via Singapore. But right now, there's some weird issue at PTCL's end which is slowing down traffic (ping-wise) leaving Pakistan. I prefer using Connect's DNS server (ISP based in Karachi) but at night time, their resolvers slow down. If I use Google's, it's reliable but they don't necessarily give you the fastest IP to connect to (and hence, "depends on the DNS server"). Speeds, I've consistently hit 20Mbps (even right now, at peak times). The issues @
murtaza12 was facing were isolated to him.
And as I was typing this, the IPTV stream decided to stop streaming and began buffering - twice. But this was a specific channel (MTV Classic).
