Used to get 200-250ms but when I checked now it has reached to 350-370ms. New traceroute shows us being routed through Italy.

Yeap we are being routed through Europe. It has been 1 year and we havent been able to properly enjoy Battlefield even though regional servers are there =(Here you go. Its even worse

A few days back we werent being routed through EU. One of the IP's provided by i3D was being routed through Omantel and pinga were still 200-250 but now routing to all the IP's is through Europe now.
Last I checked, talks were on-going with Omantel to find a solution towards i3d ME servers. Not sure if the trial has started. Keep an eye out.Here you go. Its even worse

But omantel routing was also giving 200 to 250ms on ME servers. Can EU ping can be reduced to 140 or 150?

Why pings are so horrible in VDSL as compared to ADSL? Getting fine speed but really bad pings. Was getting around 34-50 ms to dxb valve servers, now when I've converted to VDSL its hovering around 55ms.

That would just have to do with how ADSL and VDSL work. For ADSL you have what is called "Interleaving" which basically helps with noisy lines by handling bursts of noise much better with a "buffer". Interleaving has different depths ranging from 8 to 64. a depth of 8 will add 5ms while a depth of 64 will add 25ms of additional latency, All of this to your First Hop OR Gateway (Most likely your exchange). Fastpath is more or less the same but with a depth of 1 which adds no latency at all and doesn't attempt to correct errors or little to no errors at the least.
While on ADSL you can just annoy PTCL and get them to change your line to fast path to enjoy that 25ms drop in ping but, for VDSL, from what I've read it seems that there is an "automatic system" in place that monitors your line and sets the depth accordingly. I may be wrong on that but, I wasn't able to get any actual clear info on the VDSL Fastpath and Interleaving.
You'll note that the ping increase is more or less about ~25ms since I think that 64 is the default interleaving depth for DSL lines by PTCL (At least mine is.) and the reason why G.DMT lowers your ping is because when you select G.DMT as a modulation you'll note that the interleaving depth changes from 8-64 to a 1 (FastPath effectively) resulting in the lower ping. Though I don't think this works for everyone :/
tl;dr anyone on a stable ADSL line can try fastpath (If not enabled by selecting G.DMT, annoy [MENTION=24169]ptcl[/MENTION]CARES) and see if your line is stable and if it is stable enjoy the lower pings ^_^

So my SNR has dropped and after complaining i came to know that underground cable needs to be changed :-( i dont know when is that going to happen now
